i'm having the same problem since the day i shifted in. Thought the problem lies with the wc but plumber told me it's from the drainage. Michiko, what's the brand of your wc?? HDB is coming to inspect this week.. Will revert if there's any solutions...

the hdb technical guy and the main con plumber will come on Friday. Ha, I've also arranged for my contractor to be ard.. So see who point finger at who lor.

I not very sure too. You asked ard first before confirming. I was told that jsut clearing the choke without removing the WC already cost S$50 but it's unless cos the problem will persist again. Y not u try buy the toilet pump to pump first. Your WC choke, mine stinks!

Jacky, Called HDB, the technical guy will be coming down to my unit with one of the main con. You might want to ask your neighbour to call up HDB as well. Horrible kimchi smell! ok noted!

I know roughly what u're referring to. Was told my WC is otto brand... siao liao la.. how to live with it! eveyday come home open the door feel so frustrating! My contractor is coming down next Fri to look at it. Hopefully he's able to resolve. sianz...

Hi, Just to check. My mbr toilet's drainage next to the WC has a foul smell since day 1. Initially I thought it was the WC unit but plumber told me it was from the drainage. Anyone had the same problem?

The HDB guy says crack line is very common as it appears in every single unit. And as long as no water mark or leakage than it's ok.

I shall do that than. The unit above mine as completed their reno. Initially I tot the crack line was nothing serious till i saw yr post!
