    Well guys .. I dont have a very good experience from Furniture club.

    And its tiring to get them to rectify the problem. I am searching for them for 6 months and they wont pick calls, tend to forget, wont call back. Have excuses ready, at times rude ..

    AND bottom line is the problem is not solved.

    To share with you guys ..

    I had bought a sofa costing around 3K from Furniture club .. or as they put in expo FOL.

    Quite surprised by their quality and service.

    They delayed the delivery

    dumped the sofa .. without bothering to let me check it

    rude staff

    no repsonse.

    faulty and poor quality

    after 6months of persistent followup .. very very poor response.

    I feel as if I am at thier mercy and left all hopes on it getting in better shape

    I LIKE UR LIVING ROOM! Very very pretty! By the way, Punggol 400+ k?! Geez.. i thought only HDBs near town cost half a mil... how big's ur place?

    Mine is 114 Sq mt.

    well now since ur last post its going 450++K for somthing nice .. corner and high floor.

    god know why and how the price is increasing

    Wah seh....both of my new toilet bowls are Johnson Suisse leh...whats the problem?

    Where did you buy it from? and which model ah? can take photo?

    oops didnt realise that there is sme update here.

    Not sure about the model .. but there is a back flush. It took me months or argument and followup with the guys to come over and have a check.

    They said its aknow problem and started with new Flush systems .. since PUB allows only 4ltr or less to be used in single flush. Older systems used to consume 8ltr++

    well .. so I have to leave with it .. and use multiple flush

    Piece of advise

    Be cautious while buying Johnson Suisse products.

    My personal experience is not very healthy. Almost for last 2 months I am struggling for an appointment.

    One of the WC which I bought is johnson suisse and there is a back flush kind of problem. Called the company up many many times .. but no luck.

    Pathetic.

    we hope to shift in by 16th Jan, or at least that's the date for my hubby to shift in.. but we'll definitely move our things in earlier and start cleaning up so that we can be in time for our wedding! :)

    nee savi, hehe yes definitely not in time to usher in 2010, but should be in time for cny la.. :P it'd better be!

    Yeah moved-in in Nov. I got it done pretty fast .. and my ID was very considerate and helped me in the best way he could.

    heheh actually i was waiting for ur lengthy process which u mentioned earlier on leh..

    yah, we dont always get everything.. but must be happy with what we get.. :) im very happy with the progress of our house reno too.. :P

    Yeah .. quite relaxed .. its was way too lengthy and my reno was not much compared to what u are doing.

    Day 27..

    1st coat of paint is up.. door frames are painted, bedroom doors are varnished, maindoor repainted too.. no wonder so hard to open the door la! :P

    same shade of galaxy for left and right, but left is brighter from the light coming from living room windows.. not too dark! :D

    iris white for the other parts of the living room.. we like the slight shade of grey.. :D

    funny why one side of the wall is painted, but not the other... :unsure:

    I love the greys .. gives a chick look.

    THis is almost at the last leg of reno .. u might be quite excited to move in. When is the tentative dates?

    Dont envy me .. U always dont get everything .. so I didnt too. But somehow concentrate on things which I got.

    Hi nee_savi, love your miele washing cum dryer... I'm also contemplating on Miele but $ factor though. :)

    Yeah it took me a month to overpower the $$ factor. But after much thought .. I was left with not much options.

    So far my personal experience is good. The washing machine is quite effective and I am utilising the dryer to the fullest. The beauty is ... the dryer removes all the lint... and clothes feel fresh and soft.

    Even the supplied cache of detergent are pretty nice

    how much do you actually need to spend on the enhancement?

    Seems like you are lucky to buy a flat in just good condition!

    My initial budget was to spend as less as possible around 6K .. looking at the condition of the flat. But frankly there was no much interest that ID's show for that small budget and I also get spoiled with things around.

    ATM, I am looking aroung 15K.

    THis dosent include the eletrical wiring and other things.

    I will post my weekend shopping spree later today .!!
