    Latest update.

    My "friend" / tenant has moved out at the end of Aug. I started to notice that his stuff was all packed a few days ago, but he didn't tell me anything. He'll just ignore me whenever we bump into each other around the hse. Then came one morning when I left my room and my maid inform me that my friend had pass her the keys . I was kinda dumbfounded that he didn't even have the courtesy to give the keys to me personally as i was in the house. There was no note , no thank you. He didn't even sms me or my husband. He still owes us 1 mth rent , which is $300. We were very dissapointed. My hubby says, we welcomed him into our house and he left like a thief !

    I'm planning to msg him and ask him when I can get my rent and I want him to come over personally with his GF and give them a piece of my mind.

    I am so pissed off.

    Hi Mr Chong

    wanted to ask you question on a switch on my career. Currently working shift work and often when i off duty is already 10pm. I am taking care of my son at night after work. I am thinking of switching career this year as my son has started playgroup and i find that i need more tiime to be with him. I do not mind a cut in my salary as long as it is reasonable to keep a living.

    Is it advisable in view of the current recessions? Sigh!

    Want to seek your adivce on behalf of my brother

    Born: 1968 August 13th 10.15am

    1) He has been working in the same company for twenty years the one and only as general worker caused he has only PSLE quali.

    2) He was retrenched this June and until now still hunting for jobs. He was sort of soft spoken, stubborn and slow learner. That is why he never look for other job as he is quite slow and easily contented.

    3) But he has no plan for future he spent more than what he earned!

    ya, this is wat i'm thinkin,, kids will need money too.. actuali i hope to save money to prepare for kids, now still clearing reno loan, really don wish that debt after another.. but my mil n my mother wan to show off.. if i got money who don wan to hav a grand weddin.. jus trying to make my hubby and my life easy lo

    assessing your current situation better not to have banquet.

    I didn't plan for a banquet, am going for house-warming (buffet reception) plus customary at my new flat on 7 dec 2008. Like that can save quite alot. But of course lah, buffet must really sepnd on the most expensive and delicious food cos' no banquet mah, cannot be stingy on buffet already....

    my mother-side's relative abt 70 pax already, if wanna banquet surely go broke!

    anyway, house-warming can bring in good 'ren' qi and positive yang energy flow to your house :)
