  1. A friend went l9cal and bought a similiar one at about 100plus. Thus we maybe can do the maths and see if it's worth getting from TB, giving a risk in broken mirrors or dent. Anyway I will scout around and see.

and also peeka has started a new feature called ship4u, meaning you can buy your own from taobao and sip to their warehouse. Then you can sea-ship your stuff, hence electrical stuff and heavy can be shipped. They have base weight $10 and first 30kg will have is $1.40 per 0.5kg, subsq another rate.... storage 10days only.

for those who are keen for loose items that cannot form 1cbm maybe can look into this.

  2. Sure, will check out price with her and advice here. By the way, bro, can share with me the link you bought your toilet mirror cabinet too? thanks

my item looks like 0.11cbm, small item. But she also calculate min 1cbm, so looks like quite bohua. Unless I have alot of stuff that can form up 1cbm, looks like I cannot go via her liao...

the items lets say 13kg, if I go via 65daigou, probaby is 1st 500g $4.70, sub 500gm $1.7, plus agent fee maybe about $50ish

If I go via Taobao forwarder, that goes by actual weight, maybe will be about $70ish but is via air.

I will reconsider to see buy there or in Sin better. :)

But actually I wonder how many stuff I can fill up that 1cbm. hahhaa.....

  3. Sorry, I might have given the wrong info. Peeka is the one that charges 10%, 65Daigou rate should be around the same. But they always have promotion and I bought it during the period where they waived the agent fee.

What I mentioned is the agent fee/commission for purchasing on TB, not the shipping fee to Singapore. Shipping fee to Singapore, I believe May is cheaper for larger items.

Not intention to buy many stuff, Was thinking of buying this only,

    http://detail.tmall....58f6fef33f8bb22

    and maybe this also, http://detail.tmall....58f6fef33f8bb22

Wonder is it cheaper to go via Amcon or 65daigou/peeka?

    Anyone can advice?

  4. Thanks.... my guangzhou friend help me to send it over using SF Express Airfreight but very ex. It took 2 days to Singapore but cost S$83 for 4kg.

ouch.. that is ex. recent i used TB's airfreight for abt 5kg cost me RMB143 nia leh. :P

  5. U're most welcome..kekeke.... :D

If it can serve you well you may wanna consider using back, provided it's suitable for your currently room size.

I dun know who told you that long blades will warp.

I've been using 56 inches acrylic blades for coming to 3 years liao till not it's still serving me well, i dun see the blades warp.

I've Pmed you on the lobang as well. kekeke.... kopi on you if you happen to save ya....kekekeke.... :D

    Cheers pal :drunk:

thanks bro will try to findnout what models it has :-) or maybe u can Helprin shoetlist for me what models r good as 56 n 60 inch. Will also b looking for 1 52" for bedroom :-)

  6. Hi,

There are mainly 4 types of materials for the blades, (metal, aluminium, wooden and acrylic)

For yr case, u may wan to consider acrylic blades instead as it will not rust.

Maybe yr place doesn't suits metal blades fan.

You can't take KDK fans as they dun come will light kits.

So there many brands of fans that carry fan with light kit, either round type or holder type.

All the fans for all brands are tune to their best performances.

As for whether the fan is windy or not, very much depend on your size of the fan cos the coverage for the fan is according to the blades size, and the size of yr room etc.....

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers pal :drunk:

Hi bro, thanks for the advice. My prev house unused amasco classqiue n it works well. Was considering a 56" or 60" for my hall but someone told me too long blade will warp after long use, is it true?

Saw tat u recommended quite gd lobang to the forumers, do u hv some for me?

  7. Hi, juz come upon this forum while searching recommendations for ceiling fans. Currently hv ceiling fans for my living hall and all bedrooms. Installed Supercasa brand fm PDF in Jln Besah. Kana conned to buy this brand while searching for Amasco. Said what USA brand, super motor... Blah blah blah.... Phui! This brand fails me totally, within a yr got to call got svc at least twice n their svc sucks! Fan quality also bad, metal starts to rust n fan wobbles n speed reduce alot in 2 mths after svc. Really wanted to hv them changed asap for the weather is killing! May I know what brand n model you would say is good? Living hall is quite huge but has only one point for fan n light only. So looks like got to get those w light kit. Interested in KDK but not feasible.

Thank you in advance for any revommendations and advices.

  8. Curently using super casa...bought from PDF (jalan besar, near poh Joo)..Dont like the after sales services.

    1) regulator spoilt.

    2) Bring down and get a new one.

    3) Spoilt again!!!! The staff over there like beng type.

    4) Fan got sound, call them and want to charge us $40 transport fees!!!!

In the end, ask my id to check for me. Now no sound. Ok. Save $40. My ceiling fan casting (for lights) change colour! They gave me initmation! Horror! What to do? Move on....Wait it spoilt again, then change into new one. And feel like being chop also!

    Remember, PDF ...dont go there!

Ya I bought from PDF 3 yrs ago. Had Amosco in mind then but got 'saiko' by the sales lady to get supercase. Wondering if bec their profit margn high... hahahah..... Saying what Amasco made in CHina, Supercasa in USA, stronger power, no sound... WTF! Durig installation day already **** of problem and ah beng attitude.... Within few months, fan speed slow down tremendously, shaky and got sound! Called them to service, after sales service like ****! Got to pay service charges but problems still comes back after few mths. Now all the 3 fans got to 'service' at least once a yr to get back the speed! All these need to pay tpt charges and capacitor charges.... KNS! My other Franco bought 2yr before them also no problem at all till now. 10yrs ago I bought Amasco for my previous flat only have motor slowed down problem after 5 yrs... unlike this PDF's recommendation! I will never go back to this shop again!
