    yes, I will also give feedback after my renovation that is to be completed in Aug 2012 to share with all you guys on my experience with urban design but of course there will be different with which ID u are dealing with.. :sport-smiley-018:

    OK, my feedback but do consider the factor that I am not those who is super 'meow' type:

    after renovation done since last year sept 2012, I have received a 2 yr warranty cert but I was told that it was for carpentry work only. over all my impression is:

    1) carpentry work is good

    2) painting work not so good

    3) electrical work so so

    4) after sale service is good

    maybe those which need improvement are the sub contractors where the control need to be tight.

    During the one year where there are some problems, they are solved fast. so no complain so far for my case. Overall satisfied with the service.

    this is my impression after one year with aftersales service to make it more thorough review as aftersales svc is important too...

    What should I do?

    Found out today the previous owner left the house vacant for last 20yrs n his wife jumped off the balcony.

    He lied to us n his agent that he moved out a couple of years ago n rented the place out.

    At a lost coz I'm totally not comfortable with this new information. I'm not saying that there are ghosts in there but I am scared n angry. Reno started after 1st appointment. Stuck with the house. Would appreciate some advice.

    report the agent to CEA...agent does not know anything hard to believe...

    Actually wanted to let my Id earn but too bad , the creation air review is too bad. I dig out my old contact ; and went with him instead. He helped many of my old neighbours do their aircon and last 5 years non complain abt workmanship issue. Kelvin 91010197. So can rest be assure , no leaking etc. I realize that aircon workmanship is super impt , more impt than cost , for resale condo since all the piping are conceal. If not done properly, it will alot more to rectify .

    I think every ID has their strength and weaknesses...observe the renovation progress carefully and will be able to tell their strong and weak points as renovation is a whole process not only involving ID itself which is the primary but also involving some services provided by their partners...enjoy yr reno.. :sport-smiley-004:

    hmm.. you mean havent finished yet ? hmmm.... hope all is well.

    I think ID plays a bigger part than the shop itself. So far, my id has been very patient and careful. But i was quite surprise that they use Creation Air for their aircon quotation. Because the mkt has very bad review on creation air. According to post on renotalk/singaporebrides, creation air actually advise customers to use aluminum piping which is not only inferior in quality but also void the warranty of the aircon .

    Oh..so did u use the air con contractor they recommended? I think the market is flooded with many air con contractors now...competition is stiff...

    hi all, got lobang on wall paper after bro told me he is going to buy me wall paper as a gift for home. went with him to the showroom to select the wall paper style n color, the promotion pricing of wall paper is $288 (buy one get one free) including installation..all ex stock(korean and italy wall papers) galore to choose from..all at $288 buy one get one free includ installation, finally buy 2(get 4 in total) and bro foot the bill at $576 LOL :)) thanks to bro for the gift n lobang..

    details :

    wall papers bought are two korean wall paper (3mX4m for each wall installed) bought at $576

    FRee two wall papers , select one italy made(3mX4m ) and one for kid room a korean wall paper(3m X 4m)

    best of all,no GST needed (heard the sales say this is one of thier sub company..)

    First of all, Hiya all!! I've been a silent reading in Renotalk forum for quite a while and gathering intel on pretty much everything. In and out of 5 to 6 iD, few contractors and finally saw this thread and decided to give it a go. I must say, i agree with luckycoin!!! Engaged Susan as the iD: attentive, gave ideas, listened to what i had to say before suggested alternatives. And most important of all, friendly,approachable and the price wise - Thumbs up!! (Of course, there ARE some items that are a bit pricey comparing with other iD, but the total sum is very competitive) Gonna sign up the package tomorrow nite and start the ball rolling on end October! Hope everything goes fine~~~ Yeah!

    hmm so opinions differ. Have you decide to buy ?

    Heard from some FSM that pixui may not be effective or not effective at all..

    I have also heard that a pixui that is placed on top of crystals of different colors, the qty of crystals to be determined by your weight of your 'birth date'. the pixui is to be placed on top of the crystals together in the bottle..it is said to be enhancing luck and add more' weight'if the weight is too light of your birth date, heard this from a popular FSM(at HDB hub)...anyone heard of this before? :sport-smiley-018:

    typically, it is advised to place it facing the outside, e.g. facing a window or door. but u should get someone to advise u on the optimal location for you, in ur current house.

    Different opinions were given so far. they are : facing balcony, putting it in your bedroom wardrobe, chaiwei not recommended, pixui no use in FS..these are some opinions being voiced .. :sport-smiley-018:

    According to my regular geomencer, there is no such thing as a perfect house unless we purchase our own plot of land & build up our own house. We would then have control over architecture & facing of the house, main door, back door, etc.

    As such, a professional geomencer would attempt to adjust the fengshui for the house to his/her best ability. Unless, the fengshui of the house is an inherent problem that there is totally no recourse, then u should consider giving up on it.

    Moreover, we should not be depending solely on fengshui as our means for bread & butter in lives. Most of us would still need to work to earn a living.

    A house is a place where u would call home & be spending a lot of time in it when u retire daily from work. It's very important that you are able to establish a connection with it as home-owners. So if the affinity U owners have with the flat is as such, then u are destined to be its home owners. In short, I would call it "fate".

    u are rite, I have not heard of anyone who has good fengshui house, and everyday just stay at home no need to work and expect money to fall from the sky...

    I think it is better to ask FSM on this...it cost less than S$200 with complete analysis on the auspicious direction and your bazi whether it suits the place u bought..

    Hi, just wondering if you guys ever get 2nd opinion after fs audit. I had mine done recently before Reno (in fact before otp). Fsm say house not a "Wang" flat but we love it so much that we sign anyway. Then the recommendations given meant a lot of constrains and basically not what we had in mind interns of space planning. Have any bros and sis out there experience this before? Do you get a different fsm to check out just to get a 2nd opinion much like if we were told something bad during medical review? Problem is fs audit is not cheap. Any opinion appreciated.

    I think no harm getting a 2nd opinion...u can get it done less than S$200 for unit auspicious direction checking.

    Usually I think should start finding the unit with auspicious direction that suits u as mentioned, with the unit selection, than renvoation wise can start at a later date after the floorplan FSM audit, reason being renovation can help to change internal of the unit(but to certain extent only, if yr toilet at centre of house, than cannot change la :))and the the direction of the unit cannot be changed when u decide to buy the place.

    having said that, if u feel u like the house when u step in, most probably the house may suit u best. For me, my FS advises me to select unit with certain direction, but when we saw a unit we like and feel good in it without being the best direction as FS advises, we still go ahead and buy it anyway LOL :))

    Hi,

    Im in the midst of engaging master ang's service. He's been to my house and done the audit, now undergoing renovation and he will be coming down again after reno is completed to "check" and give final advise.

    My general notes:

    Once you step into his office, wah, really feels like a traditional old school FS master office. One that is doing well, mind you. Got lots of his FS cheena literature, some of his own FS ornaments (he doesn't sell any FS items), chinese antiques, photo of him and ex taiwan president Chen Shu Bian(did he manage to calculate CSB's downfall?), etc etc. Not like some other FS master whos office looks more like a telcom service centre, with computers, receptionists, etc. Neither like some FS masters' office which looks like a struggling office space that looks bare, uninterested, and no business.

    He's not the kind who will ask you to hack this and change that unless it's a absolute necessity.

    He doesn't believe in Lilian too's style of buying and placing excessive FS ornaments. He condemns crystal "caves", laughs at the belief and usage of pixius, etc.

    The way he calculates some FS stuff is really like in chinese movies, where the shifu will use his fingers to calculate, like, touch finger tips to finger tips. I call that fingers "chut power".

    Cons:

    He tends to be rather brief and i think he's slighty on the impatient side. (i always tell my gf: "I like! Talented ppl are often impatient!")

    His business seems to be very good, and i think he's the treasurer or something of people's park complex committee, so he tends to be a bit busy, sometimes hard to talk to him in details over the phone or at his office.

    In general, whether he's good or not, I will know after i move in and see if i can feel any improvement in my and my family's life right? So i'll only be able to give a proper conclusion in a few month's time <img src="http://203.142.16.149/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

    But if you're looking for a traditional FS master who won't try to cheat you to buy this and buy that, or who's <u>not</u> **** anal about everything (bed face toilet will die, this cannot, that sure have to do, else $%^& will happen), and based his recommendations and advices on self experience that of his past clients, u just want FS advices and not someone to talk cok sing song and share grandmother grandfather story, then I think Master Ang is ur man.

    Has anyone has engaged master ang (fengshui master) located at People park complex to do fengshui before? Pls share your experience, as I am looking for a master to do FS but not too much in buying FS ornaments. thanks so much...
