hey mist, that'll be great! I've been trying to surf for websites that shows modern minimalistic houses but can't find many. i like white stylish furnitures too. went to this shop at lavender recently and they have a full white fiber glass recliner chair at only $899. Real tempted to buy but hubby say cannot cos no space to put. if anyone has links to nice modern houses, please post it here to share. thanks!

I guess its not true that minimalism is for poor blokes. in fact renovating your house to cater to normal living but yet looks like it is empty can be even more expensive than normal renovation. cos u hv to conceal a lot of stuff etc. wires, cabinets. my ideal of modern minimalism is a white house with very little loose furnitures. Glossy white/black laminated tv console and cabinets, glass door, bright lightings. some greys on the walls if necessary. With some very modern/ abstract decoratives and paintings. End result is the house must look very empty with clean lines for furnishings but yet has all the things needed for humans to live in.

Ya, ikea still sells that chair. U can find it at the children's department. Singapore only has it in blue but I saw the white one on their USA website. For spray paint, i use those bottle ones lo...but it peels off when you knock against something. eg. the wall. Now i am thinking of buying the one that elmo has. finesse, nice balcony . simple and nice. love your white hanging chair. where did you get that from? dizzy, i don't have grilles but i have a roller shutter at my balcony cos it is very high. hmm..i get what you mean by it'll look weird. Maybe you wanna consider putting a roll of plants or pebbles near the grilles so that it is not that easy for your boys to access the edge.
