    after calling at least 3-4 diff ppl to my hse for a quote i finally confirmed with this lady Cindy whose contact i found somewhere in this forum.her price was the cheapest n 1-2 of these guys had shown me the same material at a higher price.she even threw in cushions for sofa n MBR bay window FOC for me..she's delivering this sat..PM if interested..

    been bit busy and unable to upload much pics..yday went down to my place to check out the backsplash and was utterly disappointed..its so ugly..i told my ID i cant bear to even look at it..below a pic of it..do give me some suggestions of wat color i shud re-choose?tks

    Hi All,

    Been delaying my curtains as I have been sourcing around and found that most cost at least 1k upwards for just curtains. No roller blinds.

    I have just arranged an appointment with my curtain person. June 9138 1141 this coming Saturday at my place Bishan for a no obligation consultation.

    Her prices should be lesser than what we have sourced for earlier, even people park's complex cannot be comparede to her prices, as my friend sis-in-law has already ordered from her.

    Hope to get good price from her.

    I just went to Poh Seng during lunch time.

    All their prices are quoted with GST and i was served by a guy who has average service quality. When i asked if the gst can be waived off, he said the prices are all inclusive of gst and they are resonably priced..

    Was abit disappointed..Does anyone face this situation too? When we pay for the items at the counter, will the gst be really waived off?

    P/S: The lady seem more approachable and friendly..Didnt manage to ask her abt the gst though..

    I had also dropped by GR link, the sales (guess it's benny) was more more friendly and more willing to give advise..but price wise, it is few dollar more ex. The shop has slightly more elaborate design items..

    Can someone share with me abt Poh Seng?

    I got my MBR basin,tap,storage heater and bathroom accessories from Poh Seng..i think they've so many customers and wont entertain u much one esp on a weekend..so we help ourselves to go there 2-3xs to see see before confirming..n browsing thru the stuff ourselves..their attitude is like they want u to place the order immediately..actually they wud disc the price from the displayed price one so it doest really matter got GST or nt..

    Do ur research by walking ard n noting the prices..i got my kitchen sink and tap fr Poh Joo as was cheaper there..u'll b surprised u can save quite a bit..

    has been a busy day yesterday & today..bought my final light for MBR entrance as there is an add pt there and a living room fan yesterday and got all the stuff delivered this afternoon..took a look at the painting wks that were completed..pleased with everything except one of the room..

    we chose pink for the feature wall n it turned out so light and was hardly visible..did take some pics but hardly can see anything..

    called my id and he was nice enuf to let me choose another color for my other room..tat made my day!!! am gonna choose a darker shade of pink this time round..

    gonna confirm my applicances like hood,hob and oven by this week..

    oh, cant use back the same basin+tap & mount on the vanity? tats wat i intend to do...will instal add. tap at svc yard for me.. :)

    it depends..the glass sink i got requires a tap tall tat needs to be mounted on the soild surface..if u r getting the other kind of sink where the tap in mounted on the sink u mite be able to re-use the existing tap..then for the add tap at svs yard can get the normal one..no need the mixer..

    No I haven't move in yet. However, my Reno is completed, doing cleaning here and there. Waiting for a big day to move in. :)

    the place there also v dusty n noisy and have to bear with all these if move in earlier..:-)

    Yup, I am from RV too. Didn't have a blog, just a silent reader.

    I made the guess based on your picture.

    Anyway, thought you had left out the fridge. As a light cooker, I had my fridge on the same side of the L. Very little tabletop space.:(

    im so disappointed!apparently one of my laminate for the MBR wardrobe is not available..mite need to re-choose..gonna b changing the design of it the 3rd time..

    have u moved in to RV already?

    i made some changes to my MBR wardrobe..wud post the 3D once i get them..

    Are u from RV too?

    im placing it opp side..the kitchen workspace is already so small..if i place my fridge on same side as kitchen cabinet wud b too cramped already..in the living wud b so odd..tats wat i feel..:-)

    my family used to have one from tecno gas but we change it after a year of using it. the metal started to look like it has been burnt and for safely, my mum decided to check it.

    after that, switched to a turbo one which works perfectly fine till now. no marks no nothing. still going strong.

    as for a hob that is not white in other, there are the metal ones? or maybe you can get the black glass hob from turbo if you're not a heavy cooker. :)
