We view directly the actual size pieces ; p Just to make sure the color zhun. Really no joke. Next time if you or your fiends selecting laminates with wood grains, don't believe in sample or even A4 size, most of the time they DON'T represent the entire piece. Its like Jic Saw puzzle, what you see is just a piece of the big picture and it can 100% trick your eyes. Actually that day, we are talking about paint color.

U might want to measure the distance from window to false ceiling to see if its optical illusion or really run lor. Do we have the same toilet wall tiles ? Looks similar ley ; p

I ordered Englander mattress from expo few months back. Tested various types, found them really good. If not for budget constrain, will go for the 7 zone Englander mattress. Really very comfortable. That guy at Expo really make an effort to explain the difference between 5 & 7 zone, as really ask us not to feel paisay, just test all the available mattress, let your body tell you which is better :jawdrop: Hopefully 3 weeks from now, i can enjoy it :dribble:

Yup, this will be on the part where the sink & work top area. The rest of the kitchen will not have any tiles, all paint. So that it blend well into the walk-way & dining area.

Ya lor, that's why when we were discussion, Andrew did said that hack first, see what's behind, can than remove, else no choice leave it. Yup, it have texture, slanted downwards so that it don't really catches dirt. Yup, cooking is at the other side, by the window. So fumes will leave the windows directly.

DAY 21 - 23, 8th Fri - 11th Mon Sad, by the time I visit the house again, they have already covered the floor with paper for protection for future work. So nothing to be seen.

Nop, that wall is original HDB one. After hacking away the tiles, found that its hard concrete block, so can't flatten it. Both bathroom also have this, don't know why !? I really can't see & imagine why they need this protruding short wall. Both bathroom also have :bangwall: Don't know good or bad, at least now I can make use of it to put shampoo etc. :sport-smiley-018:

Wah.. Stress ar !!! Basically they are targeting to complete all tiling & cement work by either Monday ba. Cause the tiler told Andrew he will hand over by Tuesday. Basic laying is fast, but the cutting & touching up really more time consuming. Very challenging. Got to kio line by line. Bit by bit.

This tiler kang hu very good. Some of the tiles are not perfectly flat (sure will have 1-2 mm difference edge to edge), but if you put both wrong side together, it will make the unevenness looks more obvious. So he will have to change or rotate to make sure it aligns sui sui. Look at the way he cut the tiles to fit the pipe. Personally I will consider this very tight.

Here's a pix of the almost completed MBR Bathroom. Almost completed because they have not complete filling up the gaps between tiles. Only partially done. And paisay paisay, just checked my SD card, found that I have not taken pix of floor tiles. Will take some pix tonight ; )

DAY 20, 7th Jun, Thur By last night, all floor tiles done. Cabinet base almost done as well :sport-smiley-004: Like the color of the floor tiles, its like white creamy color, with warm light, it enhance the warm feeling, with cool day light, its bright and sunny :dancingqueen: P.S. Still too lazy to process the photo I took ; p

My front neighbor think is Chinese, (haven't have the chance to see them yet), ever day, at about 5pm, they start cooking dinner, smells soooooooo good.... :dribble: :dribble: Like at least 3-5 different dishes one wor... shiok shiok man...

Yup, think they already moved out when I got the key. Cause very seldom I saw any movement or lights on when I went onsite to view reno status. So far only once I saw the house with some lights on. Ok lar, there are still viewing. Oh, they saw the reno permit and called to check if its Chinese staying here. Think there is 1 potential buyer pretty particular what ethnic group his neighbor are :jawdrop:

DAY 19, 6th Jun, Wed Still patching the bathroom tiles gap, think might finish tomorrow. Today, they start laying tiles from main gate. (according to them, they will align from main gate so that it is nice when you 1st step into the house ..... mmmmmmm interesting concept) Anyway, by the end of the day, 1/2 of living room done, walk way to dining area done, kitchen started 2 row, island cabinet base 1/2 done. Really a lot of work cutting the tiles, especially those around the door frame, along the corners, lots of manual grinning. No joke. As tiles are not 100% flat, they have to pick and choose to make sure the finished flooring is a flat as possible. Really siong siong job. Put, buay gam, change, put busy flat, change !!! *faint* End result, nice and flat floor. Great job done. ; )

DAY 18, 5th Jun, Tue Common bathroom tiles all done. Sui. Love it. They have also patch most of the gap between tiles. As there are light and dark colored tiles, they will have to fill the gap between tiles using white/cement colored accordingly. Photo will be shard later ; p

DAY 17, 4th Jun, Mon Yes, MBR bathroom all tiles done. Sui. Common bathroom wall most done. Floor tiles done. Kitchen, part of the cabinet base done. Some shape formed ; ) Sorry, will add in photo later as I am a little lazy to transfer my photo from camera and also to resize it.
