DAY 16, 2nd Jun, Sat Too tired, didn't have time to drop by today. Hopefully common bathroom flooring done ; ) Went Universal meet ID, made a selection of what we need. Have listed everything, but yet to finalized the purchase.

DAY 15, 1st Jun , Fri Finally, almost seeing the complete picture. MBR bathroom flooring also done. Left with few painful strips to be done. (at least 1/2 days effort required). Common bathroom floor tiles not done, but wall almost 90% of the surface covered, left 10% of painful cutting + grinning to perfection work. Long siong day.... Another fruitful evening + night + mid-night spend with my ID. We walk through every single detail on power point location, high/low point, which CU to pull from... Walk through detail lighting point, where to place the switch, how to pull to hide as much trunking as possible. False ceiling or Cove Light. (many many feet/pieces of cove light)... Finally, water pipe, as it will run through the open concept kitchen, dining room towards MBR bathroom, it posts a great challenge how to hide it nicely... .. . Looking at the challenges, I'm ok to expose the stainless steel pipe, but ID cannot accept it. He don't want to spoil the looks. He cracks his head trying to 'hide' the pipe... Again, he's asking for more perfection than owner (I'm happy and delighted). :drunk: After walking through, we proceed to coffeeshop to lim kopi, makan supper, talk, chat, re-do his quotation on the spot as he will need to include all the additional work that was introduced since day 1 we start work. Let's recap what we introduce from initial original idea. Day 1 morning when hacking starts : Decided to hack kitchen floor + wall (remove all tiles & do cement to flat). Day 3 morning, found dining area flooring popped. Last minute decided need to hack. Day 4 morning, did full inspection, whole house flooring goes. Day 6, we confirmed we want Cove Light... Siong siong week.......

DAY 14, 31st May, Thur Good good, saw that MBR washroom cement screed done. Common washroom water proofing + cement screed done. More tiles were laid today. Progress slow by am very satisfied ; )

So far progress pretty slow, but think they should be doing cement screed today for whole house. Ya ya, it can be very slippery, that's why many paste those anti-slip stickers / patch or put those anti-slip mat. but that actually made the tub ugly.

Think can ba, else they won't approve tubs in HDB liao. Nice... 6ft long x 1 ft wide x 2 ft tall...... :dribble: On my walk way ;p Tubs really good to have only, super duper seldom will use one.

Don't know ley, its not big. but those tub that I show don't need water proofing one, cause its standing type. Balcony can't take the load ley :sport-smiley-004:

oh, you love cheese too :sport-smiley-004: You can try BBQ with mixing different type of cheese. The common ones I like are Old Cheddar, Mozzarella, Parmesan. It gives a rich old cheddar test with Mozzarella that stretches and Parmesan that gives that little crisp on top :dribble: Oh, do you cook macaroni cheese ? I tried a few times, can't seems to make it right. Wrong taste, wrong texture.

Ya, through the talk last night, he pretty nice and is very familiar with the regulation and share with me what's right & wrong, what can pass & what will fail :bangwall: (I have 1 item fail, but can have a work around) I'm not suppose to put washing machine in bathroom, (regulation said can't have power socket in bathroom, not even with the cover). What I can do is follow instant heater style, build a box on top, cut the wire of washing machine & patch in, switch outside bathroom like heater. But by doing that, washing machine will VOID my warranty since I CUT their original wire & patch direct !! !! !! :bangwall: ZZZzzzzzzz..... .... ... .. . Interesting another lesson learned.

Actually oven can do many many things. - bake whipped potato topped with triple cheese - Bake rice topped with triple cheese - bake rice(base) top with whipped potato topped with triple cheese - roast potato skin topped with bacon finished with sour cream - roast portabella mushroom with capsicum & bread crumps - roast pork (get a big piece of pork belly, maybe 1kg, rub with only salt, (sea salt better), mid heat, 1 - 2 hr (agar agar, see how done). Shiok shiok, all fats gone - home made pizza (not 100% home made lar, get those ready base, just put any topping U like) - bake egg plan, capsicum, - Cakes - etc etc etc.... Once you have it, there are many things you can do. Small oven can be a little bit more challenging.

I was talking to Ah Soon last night & after some talking & Q&A, he explain to me more about the DB, hence from there, I start talking to him about how I want my double socket to be run so that it share the loading more balance. That's where I learn more about how they determine how many CU in the DB. (Water heater, Oven, heater, aircondition, all cannot share CU, so like me, 2 X water heater, 1 X over, 1 X aircondition, there will be 4 X CU for each, then if have more lighting point, more power socket, the DB box will be bigger lor). They have a good range of LED lights, but those big square ones, not really bright. Best, if you really want to have a good feel of the brightness of the LEDS, bring a big box, like that 1 x 1 x 1 meter box, very difficult to see the brightness as it is too expose and open + a lot of light source.
