  1. Wow 6 aircons! No idea if it will fit. Better check with your air-con specialist.
  2. Thanks. We are loving it! Had that colour in mind for the sofa but was searching all over the place for it. Places like Commune and Whitewood carried darker vintage colours, not exactly what we want. Another candidate was IKEA's stockholm leather sofa... then we saw the Ikea display piece looked super black after a few months. Quite scared. Finally found the leather colour at Hommage. So happy!
  3. Thanks. Here you go One on top of another installed using brackets. Added an additional power outlet (not in pic, at the side)
  4. Above wardrobe laminate code is Lamitak Collins Marcello Walnut. WY 5240D. Master. Personally preferred the more subtle, lighter color for the wardrobes below instead of the previous one. Quite similar to IKEA's birch colour. Code is Lamitak Riviera Viola Noce. WY 5244D. Kitchen Cabinet is using Lamitak Amber York Teak. WY 5232D. Study is using Lamitak Canele York Teak. WY 5230D.
  5. Above is Lamitak Soho Teak Oslo. WY 1205D. And this is Lamitak Collins Marcello Walnut. WY 5240D.
  6. One in the living room and the other one within the study. (Both can be seen in this pic)
  7. this is 3 rows of 2 x 1 meter tracks. We bought the joints from the same TB shop and just join 2 tracks to become 1 long piece.
  8. Glad you enjoyed it! We just really wanted to document the journey like how the other blogs inspired us. The total reno cost is slightly over $50k. (inclusive of GST, design fees and air-con).
  9. Hello Emiclus, I replied you the price via PM. We just want to be fair to Hommage because they are very careful not to disclose the pricing publicly online so that they don't offend their competitors.
  10. Time to give an update about the Fins sink we bought on Taobao. We have yet to move in, so the usage is about 2 days a week, left water spots to dry on their own for the past few visits. Generally, ok with it. We like the look. Only qualms are little rust marks and the usual dried water stains on stainless steel. But nothing that Cif can't clean away.
  11. We got it on Taobao - http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=37679334475&spm=a1z09.2.9.278.RHEQk1&_u=91q6ekj8ed69. The LED one. Find it not bright enough for the bedroom. Might try to add lights in it in future.
  12. White: High Gloss White, SHG 1091 Wood: Lamitak's Collins Marcello Walnut, WY 5240D
  13. Had been really busy this week but we got happy news to share! Furniture and appliance are here and we are really really happy with how everything is coming together. tadaaaaaaa~ I just want to take this opportunity to really thank Jake and his team for the job well done! Will definitely recommend ZL construction if anyone needs a reliable contractor with good workmanship. The renovation process went smoothly. It was largely because Jake is a very responsible and competent contractor and project manager. Like my ID says, it is normal for issues to crop up. But to us it is important that the contractor is responsible and committed to solve problems. We are grateful that Jake always try his best to rectify the problems that we feedback to him. It was easy to communicate with Jake. We have a whatsapp group with Jake and our ID to discuss about the progress and updates. The day before the furniture and appliances came in, Jake made sure that the everything was cleaned up properly. The parquet was nicely polished, chemical wash done. And he also had the cleaning team wipe away the dust on walls, windows and carpentry. Other than minor paint touch ups and rectification of scratched glass, the house is ready for us to move in. So happy!
  14. Yea Fins. Overall pretty ok other than the imperfect corners. Not bothered by the complex undersink as well haha.
  15. The 12W LED at the foyer is using the original lighting point by HDB Bed frame is from Hommage Lifestyle.
  16. Review of the sinks and taps we bought on Taobao. Kitchen Kitchen sink : Quality feels ok. heavy and solid. Feels thick. Only slight dissatisfaction is with the corners of the sink. Can't see clearly in the photo but corners look darker and seem less polished. Another minor issue with the sink: we had to meddle a little with the drainage tubes that came with the sink. On one end, the screw cap is facing the wrong direction. Had to carefully take it out and put it back in the opposite direction. (see 2nd image). tap: Good. Heavy. Solid. Stainless steel. We like it a lot. Bathroom triangular counter top sink: Nice! the styrofoam packaging was falling apart when it arrived. If you are getting sink on Taobao, do consider topping up $$ for the wooden crate support. Also need to get the correct sink stopper (we bought and found this popping mechanism rather lousy. Bought another one but didn't fit. In the end, the plumber helped us get a replacement in Singapore. tall tap: We are a little disappointed with this. Looks great. Feels solid and heavy. Nice finishing. But there is a hairline crack at the joint that will leak water. (see gif below) . Sian. rectangular counter top sink: Same issue about packaging as the sink above. Other than that, nice sink. We got this stopper for this sink. Works ok. short tap: This tap is of the same solid stainless steel as the tall tap. Nice and good. Only time will tell if they are as good as they look and feel. Minor issues but generally ok. Really like the finishing of the stainless steel taps. Hope this is helpful.
  17. I presume you want to know how much space there is below the console. It is 13 cm or 18.5 cm. Refer to image below.
