Thats my worry too.. was hoping to see the actual floor in person if any of the retail shops in Sg is doing it.

The flooring is nice..

But from the photo it looks nice, maybe in reality is not so....and most probably is cement..

wow! 3k saving ! im thinking of sourcing my own flooring contractor too since i can foresee my ID will mark up the pricing too. care to share the contact of the main distributor?

I've used laminate flooring for my whole hdb flat since Dec last year. It costs me abt $5K+. I used the main distributor and helped me save S$3K difference compared to ID firm. The workmanship were very good and the service is superb. I really thankful that we had met one of the best salesmen in SG. We have to give 2 thumbs up for his service provided. We really like the laminate floor especially it is very easy to clean away the dirt and makes our flat looks like a condo unit (from friends' comment).

Hey guys,

I'm currently looking around for ideas and have since manage to shortlist a few from magazines and websites. Intend to create my own 3D drawings before sourcing for contractors/ID in hope this would cut down on mis comm and time explaining.

Can anyone with knowledge in the industry share whats the most commonly used 3D design software used by those interior design firm? I think it would be easier for me in future if my soft copy format can fit into their software for easy editing.
