Hi! I am doing alot of hacking works to my 5-room resale of 15yr old, including changing layout of kitchen. My contractor quoted lump sum $3.5k for rewiring whole unit: 12 x Dbl socket pt 06 x Sgl Socket pt 03 x SCV pt 01 x Aircon pt 16 x Lbox/ Cove light pt new lighting pt for all rooms including kitchen, balcony etc. New D/B Box Heater pt Designer Switcher (?? - I wonder what it is) Is this reasonable? Any advice on things to look out for pls? I noticed there is 15 or 20Amp difference in terms of Aircon point. Appreciate all advice! Thanks in advance!

Hi! I am looking for a direct main contractor, mainly to do HACKING, tiling and plasterceiling works. I am doing overhaul works to my 5-room HDB flat. I need someone who is responsible,knowledgeable in his field and is value-for-money. Also seeking advice on PE endorsement, what is the average price and how long does approval process take? Time is of the essence, and we may be doing things in stages, hence we decided to get a main contractor first, then do carpentry later.Is this advisable?
