  1. MSE10VC is a R22 gas single split from mitsubishi starmex.

Aluminium pipe is a 2nd grade piping. It cannot even compare with the thin G24 copper pipe. To prolong the life span of the air-con piping, it is suggested to go for either a G23 or G22 copper piping.

    thanks aron,

than i have to go check if they intentionally giving me the old model r22 rather than r410a (while quoting me for r410a, i guess, they can mislead on piping, they can do the same for compressor.)

  2. Hi guys, need help here..

Bought mitsubishi starmex single split system non-inverter with crea*** air for my 3rm for my master room. i think i'm misleaded and was given the wrong model by the salesperson intentionally.

i realise the model number on my invoice is MS-E10VC (a r22 model which is not stated as starmex in mitsubishi website),

i suppose the STARMEX model should be MS-AD10VB, a r410 model.

Hence my question is, is MS-E10VC part of the starmex system? cause the website didnt say so.

other question is, they claim that aluminium pipe is an upgrade to the copper pipe, so i choose alu.

the invoice written is stated as *free upgrade* to alu piping, is this consider upgrade or downgrade?

for those looking for single split, my price was $795 + $100 (bracket).

  3. Hi, sorry to dig up this old post.

But can anyone who used track led light post some picture?

i would really like to know how the overall look like, and how 'bright' it is without any other source of downlight / covelight.

For the benefit of reader, i've check out those LED track light at malaysia, and they are way way cost friendly, but one thing is that its not philips brand.

    quoted at 55rm (per holder + 3w bulb), 1m track 28rm.

add 5rm to upgrade to 4w bulb.

saw some 7/9/11w bulb with holder as well, about 70-110rm.

  4. I had a very reliable, experienced carpenter do some woodwork for me at my new place. My budget very tight, only about $4000 to do top kitchen cabinets, bedframe for MBR, shelvings for bedroom 2 and 3 and top study cabinets. Very happy with the service and workmanship. He even helped shore up the existing bottom kitchen cabinets bec when they were installing the new top cabinets for me the entire bottom section collapsed! Can you imagine! Apparently the previous owner's carpenter did a bad job and did not secure the bottom section properly. So there was a mini crisis and he and his men helped to tahan the bottom section and made sure they propped it up properly. Good thing they were so responsible bec the whole bottom section when it collapsed, almost ripped out the gas and water piping!

If anyone is interested in the carpenter's contact, you can PM me. His name is Ah Wei and he is popular with other forummers too. Ivy, a regular forummer here, very kindly put me in touch with Ah Wei.

Hi candijew, could you email me ah wei's contact. Thanks heaps!
