Hi alant18, kudos to you for doing a great job on DIYing your home. Folks like you are becoming rare these days.I'm a DIY guy myself but my place is old so it's mostly repair and replacement works for me. And I certainly agree that it's a truly satisfying pastime! Anyway, I think that the trunking for your wall-mount fan power cord would probably be less distracting if you ran it to the edge where the walls meet and then down to your power outlet. This is just my opinion.
