    Was told by the self aclaimed guru in this area that the 'checkers' come between 4+ to 7+. He also said we can take cover at the upper floors for overnight parking.... The guru got away with only 3 fines last year Anyway I guess they will be coming around more often since this place is already full. $90 for peace of mind instead of playing 'Catch Me If You Can' is worth the investment.

    Anyway I feel our conservency is quite high as compared to a friend of mine staying over at the EC at Quintet... He pays about $180 a month (parking, conservancy, pool, gym, amenities, security...). As for ours, carpark already take off $90

    Yaa, I'm paying $76.50 + $90.00 now = $166.50...

    Just yesterday only, I saw the checker walking around Blk 476 carpark at around 6.35PM after parked my car. Be carefull ah!

    Whoaaah... long time never visited this forum now can see so many segarians filling up this topic. Good good, that means soon the price will go up up up..

    As per said by Air, looking at the new paint color at our block (me staying in 475) make me faint liao..

    I thought they were gonna match the color with the other side (pastel green) to other soothing color, they color blind confirm..

    Does anyone know how much the season parking fee / month at blk 476 multi-storey carpark?

    my reno cost around 35k.... if it hadnt been for both toilets i could have spend lesser.... i can't stand the wall tiles, toilet bowls and vanity.... they are all PINK.... I wish they gave us plain white... so much nicer.... haiz...

    I bought Ariston storage heater 30L for $220.... think quite reasonable... can use for both toilets and i can enjoy soaking in my bathtub...haha

    Whoaaah, you added bathtub to your MBR? Do you have any picture of your bath tub?

    Initially I wanted to have it, but consider the space of my MBR is only 2x2m small.

    I changed my toilet bowl from dark blue to white color. Couldn't withstand dark color bowl for my toilet.

    hmm... not sure leh... cos havent start reno yet... maybe that is a potential problem.... have to check with ID first.... Segarian, do you have this prob? if you have that means i also have leh....

    I'm staying at 475 n hv faced this issue. It's true tat MBR toilet piping isn't connected to common toilet, thus I must installed 2 storage heater. My idea was to hv 1 heater to serve the whole hse. But no matter how good the external look is, internally it's still called an HDB. I've done couple of boxup to cover the ugly pipes in kitchen and bathrooms.

    The shape of rooms also a bit assymetrical, make it so difficult to buy furnitures, unless they're customized ones.

    Other than these issues, I've been enjoying my living here so much...

    Hey i read this in the papers this morning too! Super excited! But it's going to be a Bt Panjang MRT station or what?? If it is, i hope they build the MRT station at the archery space there....wah high manz. Our property prices will boom!:notti: I think i'm going to stay in Segar for at least 10 years...:):P

    I couldn't agree with u more, Air. Other reasons for staying long long here are: Ambience, Quietness, Freshness, Tennis & basketball court, Makan places nearby, LRT accessability, etc.

    I heard bus interchange will b shifted to large field beside block 471. So, enjoy staying here and hoping...

    ya, think is activity of CC. when they first set up, the area is only surrounded with fence, arrow still fly thru the holes mah... now better, they use steel plate :sport-smiley-003:
