Greetings! So many of us have been drawn to the photos posted by interior design firms. Yet, service and workmanship aside, I wonder how many of you are satisfied or impressed with the artistic aspect of the renovation by your interior designer? After all, the interior design firm marks up the price of almost every job they propose to carry out, so the edge of the ID over the contractor(s) ought to be the design/artistic factor. Logically, the finished product ought to look designer's, right? Was the result anywhere close to their photos? Were you: A - Totally blown away by the design and look. Exceeded your expectations. B - Met your artistic expectations. Could realize the look you had in mind. C - Not quite what you had in mind, but at least showed some artistic flair and creativity. D - Can't really tell if it were a designer's job or a contractor's design. F - Your primary school child could come up with a better design. Indulge me if you would!
