  5. Day 5-6 - Commence tiling in both bathrooms Common bathroom MBR bathroom Living room Kitchen
  6. My ID quoted $450 to overlay the bomb shelter tiles with the same tiles as my living room. Sounds crazy expensive to me for such a small floor area and it doesn't even involve hacking away the existing tiles. At such a price, I don't think I will be going for it.
  7. There was a Grohe sale last week. I bought the following items from Heritage (Geylang Lor 44): Sink for master bathroom Kitchen faucet 2 rainshower sets for both bathroom All these items have a 5-year warranty!
  8. Also went to Lite Fusion (at Upper Serangoon) to look at bathroom accessories. So many to choose from.... headache.. Thought the $56 towel rack (top right hand corner of this photo) looks quite reasonable so I bought 2! As for the toilet paper holder, not too sure which one to get as I'm concerned that water from shower area might wet the toilet papers.
  9. Went to Hoe Kee (along Genting Road) today and saw this granite sink that's on sale $399! Considering to get it as it matches my white kitchen top. Also saw this basin cabinet going for $328. Thought it is a bit expensive.
  10. My ID told me that for our living room cove lights, it's just an on / off function without dimmer. Is this the norm?
  11. Pondering if I should change the Bomb Shelter floor tiles...
  12. Day 3 - Hacking completed. -Lights activated -Removal of debris in progress Floor tiles have arrived Common bathroom Corridor of bedrooms
  13. Day 2 - Hacking of living room and kitchen (continued) MBR toilet Corridor of bedrooms
  14. Thanks Akitsuki, I intend to have an open concept kitchen
  15. Day 1 - Hacking of living room and kitchen (Sorry about the quality of the photos. Took them with my iphone in the dark)
  16. Started this T-blog to share my reno progress and I may need some advice along the way. Here's the floorplan.
  17. I'm wondering if I should get a shower screen or if I should just use a shower curtain. How true is it that shower screens may be hard to maintain? (e.g. mould may be hard to remove (especially along the edges), water stains) If the shower curtain gets mouldy, I can replace it with another one because it's cheap. Please share your experience and advice. Thanks.
