Here you go! http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.368.g6GHPV&id=17680920186 Hmm for the service yard light, it cost about SGD $10 (or less) including shipping. The kitchen lights cost about SGD $15 thereabouts for both including shipping. The Tom Dixon Beat dining lights are more expensive; which cost about SGD $40 thereabouts including shipping Yes these lights are bigger and have to be shipped to singapore instead of using air freight, which explains why the lights took that long to be installed

Living Area Wanted Haiku brand for our Ceiling Fan but realised it's about USD 900 which is way over our budget. Not sure why my taste is so expensive either. So I compromised and bought the Crestar Aircraft 54" (Black) fan instead. Dining Area Kitchen Area Corridor Area Panoramic view of our Living, Dining, Kitchen, and Corridor area

Hi Michelle, I've replied your email already Hi there, PM replied. Hi waver21, yup we did overlay the toilet tiles. That's because fiance doesn't want to have kerb for shower area so we asked Mr K to over the toilet except the shower area, which makes the shower area lower than the toilet floor; hence the water won't flow out. Hi cozydreams, I don't have a study room. Do you mean master bedroom? Hi v04, I'm using dulux paint for my house. The paint code for my living room is Natural Cane WW 22617L As for the cost of the brick wall, it is $3.4K

Hello, it's been a while since there are any updates. That's because we haven't confirm our carpentry designs with Mr K (as I'm always out of town) *sigh*. So what has been done this week are: 1. Painting of the walls (there is one more coat of paint to be done when all the carpentry is up) 2. Installation of air-con Meanwhile, hubby and I are still sourcing for lights. Here are some pictures of this week's progress:

Ya I heard about it but frankly, am not bothered somehow. All I want is a woody textured flooring and the closest fit is vinyl. Well, the comfort for myself regarding the health issue from vinyl flooring would be that I won't be staying in this flat forever. If I'm meant to "go" at a certain time, I will "go" #ifyouknowwhatimean

Hmm to be honest, I didn't research much about flooring. I actually wanted HERF laminates cos I heard that it is waterproof, heat-resistant etc. But my contractor introduced vinyl flooring cos of its waterproof properties too. He did however, highlight the following: - Vinyl feels a bit harder than laminates when you walk on it - Vinyl has the more wooden grain feeling you walk on it; not like laminates which look like wood but doesn't feel like you are walking on wooden flooring I also did consider wood tiles but Hubby doesn't like the idea of the tile grouting getting dirty. Went to Hafary to look and other tiles and realised what hubby meant. Yes it looks like wood from afar but when you walk on it, it is very obvious that it is a tile and it just looks "off" So with all these in mind, I chose Vinyl flooring lor.

HAHA Yes! I did so because I didn't like the tiles and doors that HDB provided.. Anyway, good thing we opted out because some of the other punggol waves residents are complaining about the defects in tiles and doors when they collected their keys :/ LOL yes it is! Yea this is my favorite view in my house. Too bad this view can only be seen from the service yard and not the main living room. Thank you! Thanks thanks! Hi aurora83, I received the letter on 29 May, but quickly contacted the HDB officer because I wasn't able to produce my marriage cert for the key collection appt. Fortunately, they managed to defer my marriage cert submission and allowed us to collect the keys first

HAHA I think most new BTO more or less the same; cos HDB use this floor-plan as a cookie-cutter.
