  1. Yeah depends on your dimension and material, difficult to comment, but I did one too in my master bedroom cost me $950. Seems reasonable so $1800 to me is a tag expensive but who knows the material you use is top class? Advise you to get a few quotes to compare and ask to see work if possible.
  2. There is no way to do it becoz paint will be scratched off easily. I just changed mine to powdered white windows. I suggest you do that.
  3. I think OEM 4 and 5 energy saving bulbs kind, anyways I totally rejected them. I got reply from FANCO they claim it's the very first time such shipment has problems and just thank me for feedback. Both on the line with staff and reply email from a miss Claudia did not offer any apologies at all for the bad experience and inconveniences caused simply thank for feedback and will investigate. I was able to upload 7 photos attached to email sent to FANCO but did not know how to do it for this forum, it pops up a box asking URL http ..? Anyways don't want to embarrass them too much, like I said FANCO fans are excellent w excellent QC, quiet and strong breeze, even at no.1 fan it can be strong, we felt cold and has to turn it off after an hour to fall asleep!
  4. I just bought and installed 3 sets of FANCO FF9 56" white Fans that can have lights attachment of 4 or 5 bulbs. To be absolutely fair FANCO FANS are excellent and extremely quiet and strong breeze. However much is left to be desired of the absolutely inferior shoddy workmanship of the lights attachment which is a WORLD of difference compared to the quality of FANCO FANS itself. when the Fans came it was packed in excellent packaging. the lights attachment of the other hand came in a lousy white box with some simply bubble wraps. Upon their assembly, I found the paint work inferior and workmanship crude with melted paint and glue stains all over. The cup shade for the bulb was made of cheap plastic not glass. Upon careful inspection even one of the light attachment fell apart from the holder, imagine if the thing would dislodge while kids are sitting below, the weight of the attachment with the bulb crashing down, unthinkable. AS I SAID FANCO FANS ARE EXCELLENT W EXCELLENT QC, BUT ........ BUYERS BEWARE of the LIGHTS ATTACHMENT, a heaven and earth comparison. FANCO should be mindful of these vital details otherwise it's regrettable it will vastly affect reputation.
