hello,
nice home!
by the way, my contractor just done up my brick wall too, but i not sure if he has done the correct way. May I know after the craft bricks are laid, does the tiler paint white cement over it? Are the grout lines (the white cement) showing up cracks? Is this normal?
Does the tiler need to paint any protective layer over the bricks? not sure what though.
Thanks for the attention.

hello,
I am just wondering how often we as owners need to go down site when reno is in progress?
how do we ensure what is agreed is what we get?
like for example, painting, how will you know that they have really painted sealer and two coats of paint?
thanks for the advice.

hello,
how about using balau wood? is it suitable for outdoor decking? i am quite confuse with the range of woods too.
by the way, anyone knows the requirement by NEA for HDB planter bed decking? Must every piece of wood be removable or only those at the drainage area?
Thanks alot for the replies!

Hello,
wow, seems like scandi-style home very popular. I like the brick wall you have!
I like to do it for my new HDB flat too.
If you don't mind, can I ask how much the contractor quote you for the wall? How big is your wall?
I like to have reference to start off.. One ID quoted but I am not confident with him as he was not even sure how the bricks should be applied onto the wall and he mentioned no grouting needs to be done.
Look forward to hear from you.
Thank you very much for the attention.

hey,
I am also looking into a country-style home for my new place.
May I know if you engaged the expert to do your reno or just normal ID/contractor? I understand
not many home owners have country-style theme.
anyway, looking forward to your sharing
and thanks for sharing.

Really pretty home! I am looking for reno works for my new flat and want to do the brick wall too.
Mind to share with me the contact of your contractor, Mr K, and his company?
Hope to hear from you soon and thank you so much for the attention.
Home now looks like this:
the sideboard from Lorgan's finally came after 2.5 months..the papa bear chair and smile coffee table will arrive this week.. our bed will also arrive this weekend!
the 3ft mini xmas tree we got for our bay-window..doesn't take up extra space and keeps our dog from getting into trouble..
the bed we chose..
we changed the fabric..hopefully it goes well with the room..

is it possible to share with me your contractor, Mr K's contact number? May I know his name and which company he is from?
Looking forward to hear from you.

hello,
may I check with you something about the brick wall? may I know how are you brick tiles laid on the wall? just wondering if my tiler doing the correct way.
The tiler paint white cement over it after they are laid. Are the grout lines (the white cement) showing up cracks? Is this normal?
Does the tiler need to paint any protective layer over the bricks? not sure what though.
