    not sure abt Earth Living i just done up my HDB my ID was not too bad if ure interested can intro you. went to their cosy little showroom which is located at the neighbourhood so decide to take a look the showroom looks nice n warmly so decided to let them do up my house. price is reasonable and workmanship has standard. dateline is oso well met so if u need i can help u intro.

    I know of one husband and wife team. They do the tiling themselve, maybe slower then other companies that use more workers, but the quality is excellent (the auntie is a perfectionist!). Maybe you can consider them if you wan a job well done smile.gif They have been praised a few times in the forum before.

    Hi folk,

    I recently done up my resale Punggol flat with this contractor that was recommended by my new neighbour. I like his honesty and willingness in helping me to alter, make good the kitchen cabinet, wardrobe, wall fiture and false ceiling (all from previous owner). I have to say that the rest of the ID or contractor that i encounter either ask me to change all or price it so high that it will only make sense to do everything new. All this alteration and refurnish help me to keep to my tight budget. Very thankful for his help. Let me know if you need his contact

    Anyone doing the renovation may like to consider to contact my contractor that done my house, he was also recommend by other forum member here. I find he is responsible in doing my house and price resonable. Let me know if you want his contact, and you can take a look of his work that he send to me.

    HI allI am into the last stage of my reno. carpentry. And i source for my contractors from hacking to flooring to painting myself. Because I am a desinger (10yrs back) lol.If you like any advise or their contacts.     Hi,

    I guess nowadays a lot of contractors all under the IDs who act as the middleperson to give an overall package to customers.

    As for me, I had my own idea on how my new place will look like and partly to try saving some $$ so I source out my own contractor through "shopping" around my areas and by chance i met this current contractor who just finished the renovations work for one of my future neighbours! I look at the work and to make sure that he is reliable and good, I even met up with this neighbor and get comments from him! Haha..

    In the end, I engage him and now happily undergoing the renovation..so far he has been very positive and good attitude. You need me to recommend, just Pm me. Good luck! smile.gif

    hi km-foo, i can recommend my contractor to you if you are keen. i used his service for my house 8 years ago and will be using him again for my new house.

    initially i wanted to try out ho bee since he is so highly recommended in this forum. they gave me a quote and after comparing, my first contractor's quote is still cheaper so i stayed with him.

    he is very reliable and honest, just like patrick. the only thing is i have to keep chasing him for quotation (i think he is very busy). his carpentry work are also of very good quality, all my carpentry work in the old house is still going strong except for scratches and stickers all over (done by my kids).

    hi all, just completed my reno wif a contractor recommended by 1 of the forrumer here. glad tat i chose him over the others tat was recommended to me too. pricing wise= quite cheap, service and worksmansip=excellent.willing to go extra miles for me. thought tat he's worth recommending to others.in fact recommended to other forrumer and doin up their place now wif this
