Thankfully after all e scare of insufficient space n odd pipes tat may cause my dryer to stand alone at tis side of e svc balcony, we managed to pull thru our laundry table area haha

  2. Hi guys, does anyone have updated reviews of Vincent? We met him a couple of weeks ago, seems like an honest guy. He came slightly later than our agreed time though was very efficient in making measurements, gave advice on what type of curtains to get and even asked us not to get certain blinds as they would be more costly and not worth it. He also quoted us a very attractive price, like at least a thousand dollars cheaper than what MGL and D'Zander quoted. Of course the downside is that his materials are much more limited, basically a lot repetitive materials and colours, just with varying prints. We are not so picky so don't mind the limitations since his price is reasonable. But does anyone know if his actual workmanship/ finished products are good?

As a side note, we quite liked the MGL material selection and the sales person was professional, too bad the quotation was out of our budget. Did not have such a good experience at D'Zander though, the boss was not around when we went, the lady assistant there seemed rather blur, quoted us almost a thousand more than MGL. As we were leaving, the lady boss came back and went through her quotation and spotted some mistakes. The assistant promised to email me the updated quotation but I never heard back from her, guess they weren't interested in my business. If you are planning to visit them do try to make an appointment with the lady boss directly as she seems to be much more reliable.

Same over here.. we also like MGL curtain material selection and the sale person was very patience too...but when comes to quotation, you actually have to DOUBLE CONFIRM their calculation is RIGHT written on their quotation..They actually can write the wrong amt...(1st rd:total amt payment, 2nd rd: balance payment). Maybe their calculator button too small.....

  5. I also like these bedside cabinets, and was disappointed when the link provided by Nexer has been taken offline by the seller. So I went through a thorough search on taobao for bedside cabinets. After scrolling through 27 over pages, just when I am about to give up... i found this:

    http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.275.LI2pvr&id=13709529475 :sport-smiley-004:

So did u buy these bedside table in the end? Mind to share how much is the shipping fee & the agent u used?....

These bedside table are duper cute.... :notti::notti::notti:

  6. Weekend is here and we selected the following items for our living and dining area! Got inspired by many other t-bloggers here with the same theme.

Dining Table - a tad too long @ 1.68m but as per our measurement, it will fit just fine! Simply love the solid wood top, it was love at first sight for me. Haha!

Dining chairs - 2pcs as per photo + another 2pcs with armrests (total 4 chairs) - all white, very common design but fits our theme and most of all - comfy & affordable!

    PLUS this dining bench!

    gallery_57430_8_36653.jpg

    We shortlisted this sofa....

Alas, due to budget constraint, we selected the following 3-seater instead. Covers are not detachable but we figure we can maintain it with a steam vacuum (keeping fingers crossed!) Love the design toooooo!

My ID finally handover the house to me! She managed to rectify all the minor issues and I got the carpenter to add 2 Excel pull out racks to my kitchen.

Tada, these are the 2 Excel pull out racks that I added to my kitchen. This will help my mum to retrieve any pots and pans easily.

I also got the carpenter to fill up the gap in between my kitchen cabinets and kitchen kerb. The gap is so obvious previously that I think cockroaches and ants can build a nest inside.

Finally, the house is fully renovated and nicely done by my ID, New Nyew. All thanks to her that my abode got her new outlook and I felt so looking forward to stay for the years to come. Though ID has completed her project, my DIY project is on its way and I am so behind schedule!

    Hihi

Is that putty between the kitchen cabinet & Kerb?
