    Hi aluka,

    My unit is tiny 1 bedroom condo. And the painting service was quoted 1100 to 1250 by different id and contractor.

    I also thought of using nippon professional painting services.. the package is 990 not include pipes.

    I alsi thought of looking for other contractor for electric works.. any recommendation?

    Thank you daddywinter for your input.

    As for painting service, which of renovation stages does it requires? My initial thought is last stage of renovation after installation of electrical works and carpentry, before general cleaning.

    Recd 6 quotes from id and contractors. .. what a headache to compare them.

    appreciate if you guys would help to ask e following qns:

    1) is the color of internal pvc of the cabinet important? The highest quote included the internal color pvc, while the rest is just internal white pvc.

    2) painting service is so expensive. . I thought of outsourced it to painting contractor. What do you guys think?

    3) I tried to ask for discount from ids... the percentage they give is not alot. What is your experience

    One of id that renotalk recommended informed me that he wasnt able to provide quotation as his carpentry work schedule is rather tight and I enquiried when is the estimated time when the carpentry personnel is less busy. He didn't reply me. Haizz.. currently. . Havent meet one that give me e sense of satisfaction and trust to sign on the dotted line.

    Scandinavian theme is definitely out for me. I prefer minimum maintenance which is my main priority. I also make sure it registers into those ids I met. Hehe..

    Maybe in e end, my new home will be themeless as well. :P

    Not sure what theme should I get?

    I like Scandinavian because of the clean feel but not the wooden feel. The flooring of my bedroom was wooden color.

    Modern and contemporary is classic.... I dun mind but hope I can add in abit red item.

    Minimalist theme??

    Any suggestions?
