hey... there 5 years warranty... you shd ask them to repair the knob....O is that so? Thanks for letting me know ... I'll check it out ... hope I don't have to bear labour to remove and send in ...
-
No experience but I bought two of them on Sat as it is life-time warranty and also electronic control .Should use less electricity which I HOPE SO .
Wow .. must check this Rega out ... as well as it's T&C for warranty ...
Anyway, to answer to the question, yes it's like that one (as MotorImage always say) ... storage heaters have more uniform temperature and higher flow ...
-
I've never liked instant heaters cos the flow rate is always lower than that of the storage heaters but my wife can't stand the sight of the huge water tank.
I have been using 707 Protek ($163, yeah inflation) since nov 2005 and it has begun to fail in early to mid 2008. The lower knob cannot control flow of water. I'm now looking for another brand. Someone was saying Mistral?

I wouldn't use gold as a form of investment unless I'm high net worth. But the precious metal is a good form of hedge against inflation. If the 700b bailout goes through, the stock market would have some short term relief but in the long term, the dollar will be battered. The USD is the trading currency for gold so you do the sums. Venezuela and Iran are just 2 very smart OPEC to stop accepting the USD. Other diplomatic ones like UAE would redump the USD back to buy up the foreclosures.
For Singapore's case, MAS should be reliable enough to have a balanced basket of currencies so the SGD should be safe. But we can never be too sure. I wouldn't want to be in the situation of the Weimar Republic just before the Third Reich take over.
Having said that, I would NEVER buy paper gold. Only physical gold and it's not too difficult to store. It can be easily bought from UOB HQ or any branches (if you can wait) or even Mustafa. Storage of gold can be done at Cisco safe deposits. There's no way the value of gold will drop after seeing/touching/caressing/licking if it is just pure bullion or bar. Value of that particular piece of gold will drop if it had been slabbed and graded by professional agencies as perfect strikes or otherwise.
One last advise for all who are keen to own the precious metal, pay GST for all you gold, silver, platinium, palladium etc ...

Hi everyone,
Don't know where to start a thread on this coz it is quite a specific question. As some of you know, I live at Forfar Heights and I'm thinking of wall mounting a TV in the tiny MBR in my tiny 4RM apartment. Any of you have done the same? Thinking of mounting it on the wall that separates the toilet and room itself. Don't know if the wall can take the load.

Saw HWZ's report, Cruzer 2Gb flash drive there selling $31 ... my downstair NTUC selling same Cruzer one $27.90 ...
-
Wa for a moment I thought you all wanted to mount on ceiling so that lie flat on bed can watch .. HAHA ...
Hmm ... sounds like those F1 LCD TV pull down put on the car to watch ...
-
think car prices have been dropping in the recent yearsactually i'm considering a 2nd-hand hybrid
but heard comments from car salesman that dun know how is the battery condition...
for me fuel efficiency is rather important but engine capacity cannot be sacrificed
have seen a chery qq at the junction. when the light turned green, i almost fainted at it's speed
guess i'm a speed junky
Coz itz very light. And with its small wheels, itz got less rotating mass to deal with. Even Picanto can pick up faster than my Impreza ... But then again, any car can pick up faster than a 1.6L NA Impreza ... !!
