Ohh...tha couch was moved from our old place...bought it 5 years ago from Melandas @ about $300+...

ya man...we used to put a throw on our previous covers as they were cream in color...now darker color, no need to put throw as it "conceals" well...hehhe

Hihi Yes...replacement sofa cover is for the whole set including cushions...it costs abt $1048 including GST and they take abt 2 weeks to make for you...heard from the guy tha there are many return customers who came back to remake the covers after years... Thanks Love my MBR...can nua there whole day...kekke

hehe...the window grilles is a standard design tha we have to follow...am glad tha it matches well with the wall colors...hehhe... yes yes...since the old sofa covers get dirty easily, we decided to go for dark colors now so tha the sofa set can last longer...hehhe

My sofa set was from Ritz Rymen...bought from them abt 5 years ago and didnt bear to throw the set away as the springs of the sofa were still going strong...so i ordered the sofa cover from them again this time Ritz Rymen's at the Furniture Mall at Beach Road...

got it from my previous curtain maker of my old house...love her curtains...she would bring up her fabrics and samples to show you @ your house...most of the fabrics are in her car...curtains and blinds for the whole house costs us abt $2,500... lemme kno if you need her contact

Been busy...haven been updating for awhile... Lemme continue... Deliveries of our items the day after we officially moved in... Our Simmons King sized mattress... Our Study table cum shelf for the study room... Our Samsung 40 inch TV... Also gotten the Tv person to wall mount our old 32 inch tv in the MBR... Our sofa from our old house...old covers vs new covers... Not really...think its the wavy stripes tha made it looked lush...its normal curtain material

hihi The platform was done up by the previous owner...so i'm unsure of how much it costs...its abt 2.5m x 0.9m...inside its for storage...tha's where we put our study room stuffs like books, magazines in... We juz moved in last weekend...today's the 3rd day of staying in the new house and we are still in the midst of unpacking...hopefully everything can be done by tonite Will update with more pics when i find my camera cable in one of the boxes...kekekke

Yes, they are fixed and cannot open one...but at least good la, no need to worry tha we misplaced the keys to it...hee hee

I thinks these pics were taken 5 days after the reno start. The carpentry items are partially up... The shower heads were changed as well. Not forgetting the grilles in my son's room were up too... thanks! we only changed 2 lights in the whole house as the rest of the lights were pretty nice and in good condition... dun envy la...i also envy you for your no COV EM...always wanted to stay in a EM, if not for the high COV...we could have gone for an EM ours not really a good buy la...saw cheaper buys out there within the same development...hehhe think last touch ups will be done tomorrow and the contractor is handling over the keys tomorrow nite...heheh we moving in this weekend!! woo hoo~~ we juz try to "maximise" the 5 colors restriction given by the contractors...kekkeke yes...most txns hover around the $550k+ region..of cuz not forgetting some extreme high and lows ones as well...hehe

Thanks ya man... looks nice to swim at nite...but i wonder whether the water is cold...kekek actually we are in the midst of renovating now... will be updating with more pics soon... doing up a shoe cabinet, modifying the existing tv console, new study table cum TV console for MBR...painting...polishing floors..changing new lights and shower heads etc... Not going for ID this time round like wat we did for our old house... this time will be a contractor who's doing it...cuz we checked with some IDs, they are not really keen in our project and kept asking us to tear down the existing fixtures...tha's why this time will be more ala carte and DIY in designing and color coordinating... The management are planning to paint it next year or so...saw it in the AGM minutes... yes...very peaceful and quiet there...and ULU to some pple!! But with so many kopitiams, NTUC and market within 5 minutes walk...no complaints hehehe

Its along Yishun Ave 6, 5 yrs old EC that just privatised. Not sure if you heard of Lilydale before? Actually 600k is on the high side, if you check URA website, quite a few transactions at around 550k.

bubble-ing... we bought it at slightly less than $600k...yes, my son loves the pool too! yes, the owners lived there for 5 yrs...there are some minor flaws also tha you can't see from the pics... yes its very ulu...forest view..and some sea view as well... thanks we love the MBR bath room too !!
