I guess its okay. I think there are track lighting which are aesthetically beautiful as well so it actually helps to decorate the space.

Yah I agree with Jon too. But then again we need to consider the maintenance required for chandeliers (ie. cleaning of accumulated dust etc)

I think it depends on how big your room is! Having a chandelier in a small room may make the room look too cluttered!
-
maybe you can try sourcing online from websites like taobao?
-
guess it'll be worth it for you to do some cleaning work even if it traps dust since it creates a different ambiance for the room!
-
maybe some designer lights to spruce up the space!
-
hello! maybe you can also consider shopping online since they'll give you more options and prices are definitely cheaper too

hanging bulbs enhances the space by giving it a classic look, dont they

Seemed like these vintage-looking lights are also widely used by cafes in Singapore now..

Personally, I don't think it will make such a big difference since the bright lights are only used in areas which are enclosed e.g: toilets . So I guess its fine!

I think it'll be a cheaper alternative to self-buy. The contractors may bring you to shops where these shops MAY charge you a higher price since the contractors may be able to earn commission from their recommendation.
