hi. my contractor do really help me alot in my reno. till now if there is problem, he will still willing to come down to help me solve the problem. as i do recommend my client to him, he did not charge me any amount for solving my problems at home. u can pm me if u want his number.

hi. for renovation period, can take at least 1 or 2 month times. is need to hurry, contractor may want u to pay more to rush for u. for budget it can take about 10k or higher, depend on the material u choose to use. if on budget, try to use those material that are cheaper. if u need, i can recommend my contractor to u, he has about 25-30 employees, so if u need to hurry, he will be the correct person to look for. more worker do faster. pm me if u need his contract.

If u already had conflict with the ID, mostly the whole process of your renovation will not be too good. so it will be better for u to change another ID. As for deposit, should be able to take it back. if u had paid the 20%, u may not get back full amount.

it will be better to do with one company. as two companies will normally have more problems occur. better to get those one stop service company, that have everything u need or can solve any problem for u. i saw before how my sister go with two to three companies, there are many miscommunication and mostly likely will delay the process. and when problems occur alway is "not under my work" etc. so when is my turn, i go with the one stop service company to save trouble better than save money

hi. to me, the most difficult part is to have the carpenter, painting, and electrician to "work together" example, getting new plug, this may need carpenter and electrician to work together, like the carpenter need to have some space left behind the cabinet for the wires etc. for painting, is better to paint first before the others work start. and there is also need to do some touch up after most of the work done.

hi, do ensure which brand of painting to be use, it there any laminate for internal for all furniture, and which)brand of laminate are able to choose. Also, any protection an clearing work during the whole process. will be good to get a work schedule from them.

Hi, for my case is that i arranged meet up with the contractor at my new house to take measure and quote for me first, let him know all my requirements and design. as i want to have a loft design and add bathtub, he then help to see if my ideas can work. after the meet up, he then give me a quotation in few days time. considered fast to me. i have quotation sent to me after 2 weeks. horrible. after confirmation, with deposit paid, then i request for 3d drawings.

Hi,it will be good to replace the floor since both of u and ur wife feel that it it not match with your ideal theme. If u dont replace it now, you will still replace it over times, sooner or later. for the kitchen, just follow what u like. if not, later in times, you will feel regret why not having something that i like. My contractor try his best to follow all my request for my new house, he also have his own designer to draw out for me to have a better view.
