Care to pm me your ID name and contact?
In the end we drop this ID due to price, which we sign with another ID doing similar job but about 4-5k lesser.
However, I would still recommend defong.

Good information in this thread. Bookmarked.

Thanks for the post. Almost wanted to do coating for 2 toilets just to cover the mosaic design for the wall tiles.

I agree. Neutral experience with this ID firm. Sat down during a fair and gave the ID my floorplan. No quotation nor message for clarification. He wasted my floorplan and I wasted his namecard lol.
They did my place. Pretty good I must say. Some minor hiccups here and there but everything solved.
Even recommended my ID to my friend.
Then again, sometimes I feel it's the ID (and not the company) that really makes or breaks the renovation experience.

Relax, she was trying to help by 'whistle blowing'. It could be the case of same firm but different ID, a bad ID. It happens
Am grateful for both pinkbirdsky and your contribution
Dear pinkbirdsky,
Question is have you engaged their service? What are the prove of true you referring again? Any prove of the things you posted earlier for flaming them? 3 key points I shortlisted for you can you example? Don't escape from the question ask. We are here to help the community to shortlist contractor and id's.
I sure there is more supports standing out for them voicing their views and the prices they given is indeed attractive as mention by you which true low <~ is this the true that you referring? -
Overlay still does not affect the pop up part as it will be under cement. Logically speaking, they still need to put a layer of cement for the ground work before putting new tiles.

Do you know anything about HTML ? Copy and Paste ? From your original post I can see that you know nothing. It felt like, I don't know how to put it..... standard paste I guess. I don't know if you got my message, but I certainly got yours LOL
Hi all, just wanted to share my renovation experience. Going through the process has been a real eye-opener for my husband and I. The short-listing process, the design process, the material selection process ... it really got quite tiring after a while.
But thank God for our ID - who also has real hands-on construction experience - who is helping us to achieve our dream home step-by-step. As I am still half-way in the process, I can't comment on the carpentry work. But if you are looking for a responsible and meticulous ID, I think you can give my ID a try. His tiling work stunned us ... I'm not sure how long it usually takes to complete the tiling process ... but ours took a good three to four days. I was really happy with the result when I saw how seamlessly the tiles were placed. We have just completed our ceiling and we are equally impressed!
I will say upfront that my ID's quote is not the cheapest in the market, and he does not offer freebies. We actually picked him over three other cheaper quotes as we value his workmanship and his integrity (especially on the tiles as I have seen my friend's tiles exploded)! One of the little things he did was to cover our tiles and front door and room doors with loads of 'no smoking' reminders all over.
All in all, my renovation process has been exciting yet peaceful. If you will like to meet my ID, you can PM me.

Seriously ?!?!? which ID sent you this extortion ?
1) Kitchen cabinet is around $110-130 pfr but your quotation is $289 pfr. This equates to 120% over quote
2) Solid surface for your kitchen top is almost the price of granite per foot run (the kitchen top must be **** solid)
3) Wardrobe as mentioned by other members
4) Painting cannot be premium paint judging for the price for 4 RM. That price could have painted a Mansionette and have $100 spare cash in hand.
Does he happen to have an office in SIM LIM SQUARE ground floor ?
-
I see. Ok then lol is appropriate. Lol

Contractor price is $110 or less. You design they build. They can come down to ensure you gave the correct measurements or perhaps give you a simple design but colours you gotta pick yourself. For ID price, it can be lower than what you are quoted. Confirm plus chop.
-
Lol, read the good post. But everyone below blacklist the company. Deleted post in between ?

Newbie too, but I saw something that raised my eyebrow
Market price for kitchen cabinet per foot run is about $110 with soft closing if you google around.
for your case
5950mm =19.54 feet
19.54 feet x 2 (if i did not interprete wrongly that top and bottom means multiple by 2)x 2 (if i did not interprete wrongly that top and bottom means multiple by 2)
=39.08 feet
taking $6300 / 39.08 = $161.2 per foot run
For this price, does it come with BLUM soft closing?
