    hi, i went to cellini at IFC just now, the 1988 package is not available.

    i topped up mine at a value of $1000 for full white cowhide leather. This includes all the 5 pillows, the backing, the round leg sofa. If u interetested to get one, pm me, another sofa caught my heart. =(

    hi marshmallow, yes, it can be done for full leather. just did the change to my orders last sunday.

    for pu leather, sales person say cannot, as it will trap air.

    You are entitled to your own opinion. My sole purpose is to warn other forumers to be more decerning when dealing with this shop. Since there are other fairer shops in this equal opportunity market, I would encourage forumers to try buying from other shops to avoid potential grieve and unhappiness with this shop.

    I bought my kitchen & toilet accessories from L-pheno 2 yes ago. I agree tat Their prices aren't cheapest but rnt as bad as u said either. In fact, I quite like their service then.. The lady boss (I think) waited for me patiently to shop for my stuffs from 9 pm to almost 12 am! Until I felt so paiseh... & 1 of the hose I bought was faulty & I've got an exchange with no question asked... Hmmm... But this was abt 2 yes ago la...

    1st property when still in uni @age 22 (with then-future-in-laws' help for 10% downpayment) a 4 rm 99 condo in central area. after TOP, 5% downpayment & instalments serviced by 2 pathetic un-fresh grads @26. sold @28 & all used to finance in-laws' failure in stock market. :bangwall::bangwall:

    2nd property a 5 rm hdb @ age 28 from scratch. not eligible for government grant. work hard for reno cost to build dream home for 2. :D

    2 princesses 19mths & 6mths in short 2 yrs. :wub:

    now looking to get a 3rd property @30 - preferrably an EM (eligible for government grant!!!). hope to get one at low/zero COV. ;)

    im so sorry guys/gals,

    i was bz for 2 yrs... lolx! no la... juz an excuse. :P

    added 2 additions to my family of 2 these 2 yrs.

    i dunno where my id got the kitchen top from... paiseh. but i'll definitely use it for my next hse too, cos it's reali lovely. will update here if my id is willing to let me know where he got it from. :D

    im going to put up this hse for sale soon... so, i tot i SHD post some pictures of her (after 2 yrs) before she's sold. :D

    the best part - it cost $300+ per room night for the one bedroom suite

    not say very cheap but really worth it leh

    next trip must ketok my bf to stay there

    this trip is his bd trip so i sponsor, now very broke liao :) :)

    hey i have a burning issue to ask everyone ...

    To lose a friendship and extra cash or to earn cash but unhappy n always kena nagged by hubby ???

    recently, i had rented out my guest room to my gf @ $450 includin aircon , common toilet with instant

    heater, kitchen and wash machine can use too ... i allow such conditions as it was meant for 1 pax and

    as she is my "sista" .

    later she claimed that her bf needed the room urgently than her ... asking me for let him stay 1st

    then later she would take over the place ... , ran was unhappy and only allowed him to stay till feb,

    much later she wanted us to allow him to extend his stay till june ... :dancingqueen:

    best part was that when he came over , she always with him .. used everything like she was the tenent too .. I panic when i realised that they always turn on the aircon , regardless of the time ... funni thing ,

    they love to come n go ....

    when the uncle was here to fix the curtains, i took the chance to go into the room to

    check what they had moved over during these days ...

    i was shocked to see only a few clothes and some of her creams/ make up stuff ... :jawdrop:

    ran n i always argued over these ...

    why they use aircon so much like as thou it is free,

    why she so buay si tong , treating my house like a hotel 81

    i'm so worried abt my pub bill ... both of us dun dare to use our own AC unit.

    last night, i can't take it anymore ... i sms her to increase the rental up to $600 for 2 pax ...

    coz she is ALWAYS with him ... it's nolonger a sleepover issue to us liao ... it's really getting out hand ...

    note: her bf given me 450 on 21 dec , hardly at home ... if home, always with her ...

    she dare to fight her way with me via sms ...

    saying she only slept over twice ( the truth is that she always here with him in the afternoon 3-6hrs aircon )

    how come i so buay swee to increase the rental after they bought everything liao ...

    promise that she won't take showers anymore

    ( which it's matter of times she will ask me for permission to use )

    why me so calculative

    when her bf yet to move in "offically" and hardly home ...

    thus in the end, she still refused to agree to $600 ...

    wat should i do ... only can submit the meter readings from tomolo .. very vexed ...

    i'm just doing her a favour but now kena taken for granted ..

    and as usual , me super kena from ran ... who only nags at me ... but never help me on

    how to tell her off ... or tell them up front earlier when they were here ...

    they left then i got home ... how to settle face to face ... can't be resort to settle

    hihi.. sorry to hear abt the unhappiness u r facing. actuali, this voice down to how close u r with ur gf. in the first place, did u rent the place to her to earn extra $$$? or is it for friendship?? if $$$ is the main issue, prob u can let her know wat u want is $600 & u can 'forget' abt everything... but if ur main reason for renting her ur room is bcos of friendship, y spoil the relationship for a mere $150 more?

    juz to share with u.. im now renting a room from my close gf @ her new hse (only she & her husband staying) in a mansionette @ boonkeng. 2 of us (me & my hubby) uses the aircon whenever we r at hm (at least 15hrs a day cos im OTOT-always @home), each bathe 2 times a day, uses her cookware & washing machine, computer on almost 12 hrs a day (cos my hubby is a heavy gamer & i work from home most of the time). she charges us a rent of $350/mth. we've been happily staying here since oct 2007, only leaving after my reno's wet works completes in feb. my relationship with my friend is still very good...

    if u treasure ur relationship with ur friend, do try to work something out with her.. good luck~! :)

    is this thing solid top?

    yea~ agree with apple tat is 1 of the hardest material ard, as compared to granite & marble.

    this material is a man-made stone. outlook is pretty- pure white (with some white grains) & it's very glossy & very smooth as compared to solid tops. & it's harder than granite; less likely to break. scratch resistance. zero water absorption rate. very high heat resistance. :sport-smiley-004: however, the price is higher as well. :sport-smiley-004:

    im using this material as my kitchen counter top- as it has yet to be fixed up, i cant verify if the so-called-advantages i've gotten from the net is true or not..

    each has its own pros and cons

    it really depends on what you want

    undermount

    1. can't change the sink without damaging the top

    2. no water seepage problem unless sealant badly done

    3. easy to sweep water on countertop into sink

    4. certain sinks can only be under mounted

    5. some people prefer the look

    topmount

    1. a small percentage of sinks can only be top mounted e.g. those with drainer

    2. can change the sink without damaging the top

    3. can't sweep water on countertop into sink

    4. some people prefer the look

    there are other qualities which i didn't list

    but i went for under mounted coz my sink doesn't come with a drainer, so food preparation is done on the countertop and it's much easier to sweep everything into the sink :furious:

    i prefer the undermount look. hehe. but my id is charging me $80 extra for the workmanship to get it undermount... :good:
