    They should have those decals for car windows which is also glass. U can try asking them. Maybe I'll ask if I drop by someday. Thinking of doing my club crest too....haha. :P

    U talking about those stickers which u stick to car or the windscreens? Y not get those? They're easily available and u should be able to get them for ard 20~30 bucks i believe, for the small 1s that is....:)

    If you need bigger 1s definitely need to customise....I know of a few places that does these for cars...

    Where do you get those stickers that you stick on cars?

    Btw, anyone knows why Liverpool didn't have the "CARLSBERG" log oon their jerseys last nite? Any reason?

    Would like to seek your views on something.

    I intend to do a glass decal on my glass door. Y'day i went to a shop in Balestier & the person there quoted me $184 for a 3ft x 7ft decal. Price go by sq ft. Off the shelf design type.

    if custom made design, will add another $20-$30. I intend to do a Liverpool logo on my glass door. But is this price too expensive? Or does anyone else has any other lobangs for glass decals?

    Regarding the badm courts booking, I will try to start booking in early Oct. Becos all the courts are fully booked till end Sep 08. Maybe those interested to join can drop me a PM with your contact no so that i can contact you all to confirm the attendance before i book the courts.

    Hi alister, meowie49, 312079 & shivan,

    I just browsed thru the badminton slots at TPY Central CC & TPY West CC. All the slots are booked every evening till 25/9. Still cannot book from 26/9 onwards. That's why i saw the badminton slots are HOT at these 2 CCs. So i need to know if you all are ok with weekdays too eg Monday evenings. I would also need to check how many weeks before can i book with the CC.

    So there a few options. Would need your takes on these.

    1) If we play on Monday evenings, i would try to book 6pm-8pm.

    2) If we play on Sunday mornings, i would try to book the late afternoon eg 10am-12pm.

    Which time slots do you all prefer?

    As i am doing shift work, i am only free in the early part of the week (ie Mon-Tue/ Wed) & Sun.

    If you all are ok with Sundays, i would try to book the next slot at 28/9.

    I am thinking to organise badminton session during the weekend or weekdays evening to promote

    interaction among all of those who are living here.

    Interested parties pls reply or pm me (with your contact no) so that i can work something out. Toa Payoh Central CC is just next to us so no excuse not to exercise :sport-smiley-004: , but the badminton slots are quite difficult to book.

    Hi all,

    Long time never come into the forum liao. Need some advice from you all.

    A few weeks ago, me & my wife noticed that there were a lot of bumps appearing on the kitchen cabinet boards (the bottom side). These bumps appeared inside the lower part of the kitchen cabinet boards. Initially, we didn't know what had happened so we asked the carpenter to come. Then the carpenter said somewhere could be leaking but he dunno where becos he is not the plumber. So after pushing my ID for a couple of weeks, finally today a plumber came. The plumber said it's not caused by the water as he could find no leakage. He said it could have been some chemical sprayed on the carpentry board then over time, the wood pops out. So i called my ID again. He said will ask the carpenter boss to come take a look & i dunno when. My house is still under warranty but maybe becos money all paid liao, that's why service is very very slow :furious: .

    Anyone encountered the same defects as me? I will try to load the defects photos which i took today.

    The starhub activated my unit last sat already. They need to go to every point and test the signal and paste a ugly looking starhub sticker on the faceplate then will need u to sign off that the work is done. Either family members must be around to sign, you can call them and postpone your appointment to saturday. Anyway i can give you the contact of the contractor whom are doing the activation for starhub for blk 79. Let me know if you want it.

    Hi Dracula,

    May i have the contact of the contractor? After installation of my tv, i get shadowy images on my tv. Is it becos my signal has not been activated by starhub yet? Does it mean once after activation by starhub, the shadowy images will disappear?

    Anyone else can advice if this is the case? Or does anyone has their tv's shadowy images disappear after activation of signal by starhub? Thanks in advance!

    Anyone knows when do we need to pay the tv license $? I've just installed my tv last weekend & i heard that pple got fined becos they never pay tv license $.

    Some time back, i received a letter saying that i can pay the tv license $ thru GIRO. I think the letter is from IRAS. Attached was a GIRO form but i think it never tell me when i need to pay the tv license $.

    Hi liverpoolforlife,

    We just did the store room L-shape rack for $180. Size: 64" (L) x 48" (L) x 20" (W) x 72" (H). Grey frames with white boards. Quite standard type I suppose. No discount for bulk orders either.

    If want to do 64" x 64" is $220. The L-rack will extend wall to wall. As for the 64" x 48", it will leave a gap on 1-side of the wall. This is for you to place your iron board, brooms, ladder, etc.

    Is your L-shape rack galvanized steel? Is it 2 separate racks placed together? 4 tier or 5 tier?

    What is the dimensions of your bomb shelter? Mine is 73" (L) x 58" (W). 25" & 21" to the left & right of the bomb shelter door respectively.

    Most prob we will only do the rack at a latter time. Just exploring the various options now.

    Hi all,

    Just called the contractor again. Their L-shape rack is just putting 2 racks perpendicularly. So it is the same as buying two separate racks. HDB regulations state canot bolt the racks to the walls in case need to remove.

    If mass order, no special price becos already factory price. Have to give them the measurements you want & they will deliver to you. Won't come to do the measurements again. So need to know where you want to place the racks. Tell them the measurements & they will advice what is the sizing they have.

    Their layers are removable so you can actually buy a 5 layer rack & then remove one of the layers to make it a 4 layer rack.

    Hi all,

    Would like to check with u all who has done the storeroom racks. How did u all do it? Do u all do

    (1) 2 racks parallel at the sides placed next to the walls OR

    (2) L-shape rack

    Which would be better? Would doing 2 racks parallel at the sides of the walls be cramped when we enter?

    I called up one contractor whom my wife's relative looked for to do the racks in the past. Their racks are galvanized steell & the layers are also galvanized steel. Used for 8 years already & still ok. Got 4 layers & 5 layers but of course, different pricing. Their racks also standard sizing becos they have been doing for hdb flats for a long time already so they know the standard measurements.

    Below is their quotation based on my measurement given to them.

    51" (L) x 16" (W) x 78" (H) (4 layers) = $134; (5 layers) = $155 ===> to be placed on side w/o circuit breaker box

    39" (L) x 16" (W) x 78" (H) (4 layers) = $110; (5 layers) = $124 ===> to be placed on side with circuit breaker box

    For the width, they have 20" too. Based on bomb shelter measurement, 20" width is also ok. The width will then extend to almost the bomb shelter door.

    If anyone is interested, i can check if got discount for mass orders. Or i can PM you all the contact. :yamseng:

    perhaps you can list the type of defects that are still pending.

    1) Painting on the top of BR2 door ledge not done properly. Wall colour overlap on door ledge colour.

    2) Holes in the built in wardrobe not sealed up after installing compartment.

    Plus other defects which may be found during inspection.

    actually we had moved in already... currently staying over the weekend... currently we are not using the mbr so the mess that they create is still bearable...

    Hi all,

    Can i sidetrack a bit? U see, my house is near completion. All the defects which we mentioned to the ID along the way, he has tried to rectify. But not all are done. Now is the defects checking stage.

    Anyone can give any advice on what impt items to check for before taking over the unit & paying the last instalment of the renovation $$? Any checklist for reference?
