  1. I guess I'm one of those daring ones that will be jumping in to buy this fridge even before I seen the display. Still dunno why...hahah. Guess I was convinced about the good reviews for the 402v so I'm hoping that the 403v will live up to expectations.

My set will be arriving this Sat. Got a call from Panasonic thru Everjoint. Price is $950.

    Wish me luck!

Courts is selling the 403V at $1099. But for this weekend, they are giving away $100 NTUC voucher and if you are Courts Guest Card member, can get another 5% voucher discount for next purchase. Not sure is delivery free though? At least can have the option to buy extended warranty.

Had my 403V for 1 week already, so far so good. Hopefully, can last for years to come since Panasonic only give 1yr warranty and I do not have the option to purchase any extended warranty coverage from these small domestic authorised dealer outlet, unlike Courts/Best/HN/Gain etc.

  2. Hi sporter, steady man. You be the first to own this model~~

Can pm me the dealer's contact too? Will look forward to ur

    review and pics~~

Since i'm only moving in in june, may hold my horses till the

great s'pore sales and see if the price drops further~~

    :yamseng:

Panasonic new NR-B403V seem a bit different as compare to the old 402V, the quick freeze & energy saving button is now at the top of the handle bar. Previously, in 402V, both buttons are at the centre of the top panel, the 403V handle bar looks simple, clean-cut as compare to 402V. Overall, I felt the design is simplified. In my opinion, I think the old 402V still looks sleeker. The Panasonic delivery men claimed this was the 1st set that they had delivered to consumer in Singapore.

As promised, I have uploaded the front pic of the 403V in the following url:

  3. Got the call too...403V is selling at $953. :deal:

Just to clarify...I understand from the sales staff at HN that price will be close to $1k cos of stainless steel (not silver) doors.

    Can someone verify?

    thanks! :good:

Gain City AMK quoted me $1039 nett. I was quoted around $953 too from the Authorised Dealer. Call me Kiasu, I'll be getting my 403V fridge tomm morning. Panasonic will be delivering it to me. I believe I am the 1st consumer to get hold of the 403V. I spoke to the Panasonic marketing personnels, they were shocked that how come I very garang, no need to view display/show-room unit, already get hold of it. Since I already aimed for the 402V previously, so I just grab 403V without any viewing. Will post report or if possibly take a few pic for you guys if I can. Previously Panasonic list price for out-going 402V is $999 and current 403V list price is $1099. High chance price will drop in future, but don't care lah. Was surprised that the dealer did not ask for any booking fee, all based on trust. The dealer ask me go down tomorrow to pay them after I received the fridge from Panasonic

Courts, Best, HN no price list yet, not key into the computer system. Should be out by next week.

  4. Thats cool dude. U manage to get the dimension too.

Do let us know the price once u get a call from the dealer~~

Thanks! i'm patiently waiting for it too.

    :yamseng:

The price is out today. One of the authorised dealer call me up and quoted $952 for the 403V. Panasonic list price is $1099 for 403V and $1049 for 363V. I am still considering whether to buy from these small outlets as they do not provide extended warranty like HN, Best, Courts etc. This is the 1st batch, reserved for those who indicate their interest previously. The big departmental store does not has any pricing or info at all. If I confirm my booking today, should be able to receive it by Next Monday or Tuesday. But seem like pricing is on the steep side, coz 402V was selling at $868 previously.

  5. any idea wat is the dimenison the nw nr-b403v?is it the same as nr-b402v?

Just called up Panasonic and spoke to the person-in-charge. The dimension for the new 403V is Width 675mm, depth 695mm and height 1769mm. As for 363V, it's the same except the height is 1629mm. Looking at the specs, looks similar to the out-going 402V model. It will be launched mid of May. Was told it look sleeker than 402V and slightly more energy efficient. Should be in the showroom mid of the month, for us to check it out.

  6. hi, do anyone know the Dimension for the 403V & 363V? Any Differ from the 402V & 362V? Need to comfrim the Dimension...

Just called up the dealer to enquire and was told still waiting for Panasonic to launch this month, tentatively 1st shipment should be arriving around 11th May or later. Was told correct info was 10 reservation booking of the 403V, and no one booked the 363V. Dimension wise should not differ very much as the fridge capacty size pretty much the same for both old 402v and new 403v which is close to approximately 370L.

Since S$ has increase much against US$, wonder will the new 403V be cheaper as most international trades are denote in US$.

  7. hi all & sportster,

also looking for the Pansonic Fridge. Anybody know what the Price Quoted for 363V? I would either choose 363V or 403V. :help:

No pricing info yet. Guess should be out by end Apr. I don't forsee much deviation. Everjoin selling existing 402V selling for $868, for 403V maybe in the range of $900 or less. Courts, HN & Best definitely will market it at $999 or more, which is the current price for 402V. The good thing with these major stores is can buy extended warranty, not sure should get from those small authorised dealer or not.

  8. But in the Panasonic website, it did't show the new model ne.. Did the retails, show the New Model yet? Have you seen it? :curse:

Will be launched in May, they cannot put up something on their web which is not launched yet. You can call up Pana marketing dept to check on it, spoke to a lady call Ms Ouyong. Heard that a last batch of 402V arriving in Apr. You may want to consider if you need it urgently. I'll wait for May launch and shipment. My existing old EuropAce fridge still working, still can wait, will give it away to karang Guni once I got my new set.

  9. Wow, didn't know this model is so popular among renotalk!! :curse:

Was initially looking at the samsung fridge T41 or something..

But later saw tis model which my wife prefers more..

Since 403v coming soon might as well wait for it.. No rush though

as i'm only moving to my new house in early June.. Any shops

to recommend to get it other than Everjoin?

Btw where is everjoin situated and is the new 403v model physical

    appearence the same as 420v?

    Thanks

I did spoke to the Marketing personnel in Pana, there is no brochure avail, but the feedback from them is the fridge looks as good or better as compare to the discontinued 402V, also improve internal layout and slightly lower consumption etc. NEA already gotten a test set for certification purpose.

Frankly, the current model 402V sell on looks and inverter techonology, the "Made in Thailand" does not bother me unless if it is cars, I am also not keen in those boring conventional top freezer and bottom fridge look, otherwise will have keep my current one which is still working but a bit dated. If I have lots of $ to spare, will go for the Mitsubishi Folio Series, but since this is priced reasonably and looks good, decided to change now. Everjoin in AMK not sure which block, can check the the forum, I never buy from them b4, all based on forum feedback, just follow the herd instinct, buy from the cheapest. Anyway the last batch of 402V should arrived in early Apr, if you cannot wait, may want to consider. But if you want the newer 403V in May 1st shipment, better booked and reserved a set, anyway no harm as no booking fee involved.

  10. Confirmed same price as 402v that Everjoint quote 868?

Possibly similar price or slightly more, but no idea, Anyway, I just get it reserved 1st thru one of the authorised dealer and if the price differ alot after launched as compare to others, I will tell Pana I'll buy from others instead since my set already reserved by Pana for me. Heard from Everjoin's personnel they had 40+ booking already for the 403V. Not sure whether is it true.

  11. Confirmed with Pansonic head office. B402V discontinue liao due to some problem.

The new model will come out in May.

So you mean Panasonic inform you that 402V has some defects? Any idea what is the defect? Does existing owner of 402V need to send for any follow-up rectification. One of my friend gotten the 402V just before CNY. Anyway, I spoke to Panasonic Marketing dept and they reserved a set 403V for me. The 1st shipment coming in May of around 100 units, the problem is they ask me to tell them which panasonic outlet to reserve from, since I do not know the new prices, which I was told should be similar to the discontinued 402V. I told them that I will be buying from Everjoin, since their current 402V price is competitive. Next moment, I received a call from Everjoin that Panasonic had reserved a set for me through them.

Panasonic had already sent a unit to NEA, and NEA had certified the new 403V, that's why it is already reflected in their energy rating URL.

  12. Never hear of that, Where or who told you that, i was intending to purchase either 362v or 402v...

If your saying is correct, Then about when will the new version be out? :jawdrop:

Think sportster was mention the 402v model right? :notti:

Nope, I am talking about the new 403V, there is also another new 363V. If you called Harvey Norman, Gain City and those small panasonic authorised outlet now, all will tell u 402V out of stock, discontinued model, pending Panasonic instruction on what's next. I called up Everjoint and was was told by the lady boss that 402B end-Of-Life and she is suggesting me to wait for the 403B instead. There has to be some improvement, otherwise who will want a newer model. You may want to check the following NEA url:

  13. Hi all

I'm also waiting for the 402 model... As I understand from my regular shop, there should be a shipment coming end of March or early Apr. But only authorised dealer of Pana will get priority for any stock available. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and wait till early April before making any decision...

So u are looking at 402 instead of the newer 403? From the NEA site, it seem 403 is slightly more energy saving as compare to 402. Similar for cars, I usually go for the latest model, unless the newer 403 if it is true that it will replace 402 is problematic else I doubt anyone will want to go for the discontinued 402. Btw, what did your regular shop said regarding the new 403? You may want to check the following NEA url:

    http://els.nea.gov.sg/mels/aircon.asp

Brand Model Type Green Ticks Volume (l) Annual Energy Consumption (kWh)1 Estimated Energy Cost ($)2

    Panasonic NR-B591G Refrigerator with freezer 2 401 697 158

    Panasonic NR-D511X Refrigerator with freezer 3 430 595 135

    Panasonic NR-B261M Refrigerator with freezer 2 232 569 129

    Panasonic NR-B301M Refrigerator with freezer 2 276 606 137

    Panasonic NR-B362V Refrigerator with freezer 3 332 566 128

    Panasonic NR-B402V Refrigerator with freezer 3 378 621 140

    Panasonic NR-B282G Refrigerator with freezer 2 276 624 141

    Panasonic NR-B363V Refrigerator with freezer 3 329 569 129

    Panasonic NR-B403V Refrigerator with freezer 3 369 595 135

  14. I'm looking at the Panasonic NR-B406V-S6 as I like the design and it has 3 ticks. More importantly, it fits into the slot for my fridge, although I'm not too sure how much space allowance I'm supposed to give. The slot width is 70cm while the fridge width is 67.5cm! Yikes!

Major retailers like Best Denki, Courts and Harvey Norman are quoting prices of $999

Have gotten quotes of $900 from Goh Ah Bee and Hong Liang.

    :sport-smiley-018:

Have you booked? Not sure whether is it typo error, I think Panasonic do not have 406V model, believe you are talking about the 402B model. Btw, heard that 402B is discontinued now and a new 403B will be selling soon. Any idea or heard anything?

  15. Did you call the panasonic headoffice? The last time i called them, they said the next shipment in mid March.

Mid march shipment? Is this shipment for the 402B or the new 403B? Are you also looking at the 403B? Or rather the 403B is just a myth, not confirm? Have you booked and what model? I called up Gain City, HN and many other small time outlets, all told me 402B discontinued model, thus not accepting orders. Only Courts still has ex-stock but retailing at fixed $999. I called up Everjoint and was was told by the lady boss that 402B end-Of-Life and she is suggesting me to wait for the 403B instead

  16. Was looking at the Panasonic inverter model NR-B402V fridge, but seems that as of now it is discontinued. I scout around the whole of Singapore and only Courts has some units left, many others are not carrying the 402V anymore. Do you recommend to wait for the NR-B403 instead. But I guess should be a better model, coz saw from the NEA site, 403V is already certifed and is slightly more efficient compare to the 402V, but not sure what's the design of the fridge is like? Most likely Pana will be selling from April onwards, anyone in the same predicament?
