  1. hi hposnm thanks for your advice :yamseng:

you got any blog? like never seen yours leh..

my light all confirmed liao 4 DL + 9 PLC in living and yes we hacked away the wall between living and kitchen but rebuilt another full height facing main door due to FS issue..the other side is half side wall with half length glass and centre is glass sliding door..so still a little dark i guess..

but i just thinking as for current arrangement of 4 DL + 9 PLC for a 3 room should be sufficient right?

as for MBR only 3DL + 3 PLC as we not having ceiling light in the room also due to FS..

    Hi Babytan,

I have 8 DL and 6 PLC in the living room..... :bath:

  3. hi gal, pic of my common toilet boxed up pipe :)

hope the picture is not slowing you down..hahah duno how to resize la 8|

Wow.... i does make a lot of difference... :dribble:

But mine comes with 2 pipes and a huge gap in the middle :furious:

The box up will take a lot of space :curse:

  4. kind of..only boxed up the 1 in common since no bathing there so a bit smaller still ok lah..

taken a pic of it but haven post yet..but i really have to say that the look is so different before & after boxed up leh.. :o

hmm since PD door also not cheap then i will consider glass swing door bah.. :dunno:

Please show me the pictures..... :sport-smiley-004:

Gee I also was interested in London Oak for the living & passageway cos it did have a rustic feel but hubby chose the other design instead. Now looking at your london oak, it really looks nice! :dribble:

Thanks... Fortunately my hubby and me share the same passion for natural looks :sport-smiley-004:

Our ID suggested some stuff to be modern but we stick to natural one :paint:

I think we caused him bad headaches ;)

  5. oh 1 toilet only ah..mine still got 2..but still small leh..i rather have 1 big than 2 so small.. :(

am doing box up pipe + vanity for common toilet and maybe glass swing door in MBR toilet, guess my pocket hole not small either :bangwall:

doesnt want to spend so much but the space constraint really big problem leh

Box up seems to be a good idea :thumbs up: . But does it make your toilet seem smaller?

Space constraint really creates so many problems :furious:

  6. $400 :jawdrop: as scenario as you, pathetic small toilet, each can only do 1 thing..either toilet use or bathing, so we decided that the kitchen will be for common and MBR toilet will be for bathing & toilet..dun need shower screen as toilet simply tooo small. just make the whole place wet can liao..hahaha :sport-smiley-004: as due to HUGH pipes+small entrance, i now got problems placing rainshower & basin..initially using bi-fold but now i think we have to switch to glass swing door for toilet as this will basically solve the problem that we are facing..not confirmed though..will see wat ID says

i think we have much similar items leh, rooms also using supreme but have not selected the colour and having glass basin also :notti:

    Hi Babytan,

We only have 1 toilet. That smal small one in the picture :~:~

We're currently trying to install an IKEA shower screen to prevent water splashed all over the place, but guess what... the shower screen pole is too long for our bathroom. It is not even 1m long....

Have to somehow cut the pole :( I can't even put my wash basin in the bathroom, that's why you can see the basin outside. But, we're adding a vanity to cover the pipes at last minute. My pocket have a big big hole now :bangwall:

ya for a moment i thought that the place has already done up. the 3d modeling skills not bad huh...really fooled our eyes! :P

i really like the zen zen relaxing style of the place. :thumbs up:

    Thanks diva....

I hope when all the carpentry up, it won't be much different from the picture. I love the color scheme. It's so calm and relaxing isn't it...

Except for my daughter's room.... It's all purple :paint: Not the color she likes the most. Pink..... In case there will be a brother showing up in the picture ;)

  7. My laminated flooring also from Supreme, I chose California Oak. I prefer a lighter color lor. But yours is very nice. I saw London Oak during the expo exhibition, however, didn't realise it to look so nice when the whole room is done up. Looks very natural. :good: choice.

We can't afford real timber flooring so have to settle with laminated :D

  8. Nice :dribble: like your PD door. BTW, what does PD stand for?

Poor choco, your bathroom becomes so small with such a big gap between the 2 drainage pipe. What a stupid work from HDB. Mine was side by side to the wall leh. Your toilet bowl is as small as mine :notti:

Is your hand basin made of glass?

I thought you wanted to have laminated flooring for living room as well? How come change to homo tiles liao?

The laminated flooring in your bedrooms looks pretty unique. Which laminate company did you go for?

Are you going to do without window grilles? Saw your living room windows have no window grilles.

The progress in your house seems to be pretty slow leh, kitchen cabinet still not up after these few weeks 8|

I don't know what PD stands for but the company has a website (www.pddoor.com). You can check it out in the website. This door have a special mechanism, not like a normal bi-fold door. The pipes is really get on my nerves :furious: but there is nothing we can do about that.

Yes our wash basin is made from glass. Change my mind about the living room.... 8| It happened a lot lately. We just think that homo tiles will be nicer in the living room.

The laminated flooring in the bedroom is actually SUPREME, and the pattern called London Oak. We like something that is really similar to the real wood. Love it......

The grill in the living room was dismantled but now it is up again. The progress is definitely slower than some forumers. But there was nothing major going on that set back all the schedule. I guess we're just going with our own speed. :dunno:

  9. nice :dribble::dribble:

the PD door how much ah? under ID's quote or you brought yourself?

It's not in the quote if that's what you mean. But we bring our ID to the shop for some advice.

I am so sorry, i can't remember the exact price but i think it's around 400.

  10. As promised so many times before 8|

  11. U are welcome :D

Aiyoh, your promise didn't come true leh, still no pix of your house yet 8|

    Try to upload it ASAP.

  12. Hi choco

I m also looking at 3rm resale flat in TPY , care to share yr experience in house hunting w me ?

How much did u pay for this ?it is 3 rm upgrade correct?Near Braddell MRT ?

Hi tweetie..... so sorry for the late reply. I was running here and there not to mention a week business trip to Jakarta :(

I'll PM you the price. Yes it's an upgraded unit. Very near Bradell MRT. I was looking around TPY area since my brother in law live in that area.

Choco has not been updating her blog for several weeks liao, don't know what happened

Yes, her unit is near to Braddell MRT. She ever told me the price she paid for her flat, but not nice to share with you lah. But I can tell you the price I paid for my 3-room unit, just pm me. If you are looking at resale flats in TPY, I can tell you it is not going to be cheap now. I tot I paid a high price when I bought mine in Feb this year. But when I was browsing thru the resale transactions on HDB website for TPY 3-room flats, just to see if I bought at the property peak, I saw a corner unit facing HDB hub sold for $330 in May :jawdrop: Imagine 3-room flats in TPY were all below $200k 4 yrs ago.

I believe all 3-room flats in TPY are upgraded. Those not upgraded are either in Potong Pasir zone or selected for ENBLOC liao.

If you need more info, can pm me. Paiseh to make use of choco's blog to talk abt something not relevant to her flat :P

Hi Yokie, thanks for your reply to tweetie. I guess I'm not such a good blogger. Haven't got the time to update my blog in ages 8|

My wetworks is almost finished. Just touching up the tiles and paints. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Promise :deal:

  13. Hi ch0c0l4te, my sofa, ottoman, dining table, dining chairs, TV console and coffee table is from a package deal. Not sure about the cost of the sofa set only. The package cost us about 4k. I think they still having the promotion, its at Furniture Club (tradehub21 boon lay way).

Hi greenskyiv, the wall mural isn't painted. It is a die-cut sticker. I took an idea from the internet, traced it using a design software, made some minor modifications to the design and send it out for cutting. =)

:jawdrop: Wow you're furniture cost a bomb.

To bad it's too ex for us

    :(

  14. I was expecting to see a single continuous piece from the ceiling to the floor covering the edge. Instead, they used two pieces, a very long one and a much shorter one.

They told me that their longest piece isn't long enough to cover the edge from the ceiling to the floor. So, 2 pieces had to be used.

    I accepted his explanation.

Whoops sorry 8| ... I thought you're talking about using that piece not joining two piece together 8|

  15. All Brothers and Sister

I am a newpie for renovation and need to seek you expert out there for advise. I am currently doing the Kitchen renovation and would like to put a Glass backing on the wall. But before that I also would like to installed properly a 2 fts Stainless Steel rod to hand some Kitchen Hang on wall products.

May I know have any of you guys happen to have this type of setup in the Kitchen? And if you have hope you can share some of the experience and points to take note after installing the Stainless Steel rod and the Glass backing for the kitchen. :( Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi,

we're doing the same thing to our kitchen...... :notti:

The bad news is my backing is not up yet

But we'd already bought the rod and our ID already made measurement to put the hole on the glass.

Please share your experience when your backing is up

    :yamseng:

  16. thanks for the note.

I am looking for clear glass panels .. not sure if they do it in glass..

any idea how much is the cost of the PD door?

Just visit pddoor website. I think they do it in glass with additional cost. The cost range for a glass panel is between $180 - $380 depends on size and glass type. I am looking for some doors myself. Anybody have used this pd door?
