    it's not recommended.but then as more and more types of house decor keeps coming up - many were not tested.

    general rule of the thumb for bed is a SOLID concrete wall.

    What if, the bed headboard is solid wood, however the wall behind the headboard is of plasterboard type(use to even out the recess area)

    After reading your emphasize on SOLID, i am a bit worried. Maybe putting the plasterboard to even out the recess area is not a good idea yeah?

    suggest you engage a fsm if you wanna put mirrors.

    usually in kitchen the critical one is the stove - do not have a reflection of the stove.

    do not have a reflection of the stove? I read some feng shui tips they say reflecting ur stove means doubling ur wealth as in stove signifies wealth?

    BTW, prices of glass tables are about the same... The difference is for thickness of glass, design and size. I've been hunting for the right piece and seen prices ranging from $280-$600... The one I bought is made with 12mm thick glass.

    The barang barang one was selling at 50% ($245) last weekend during their May Day promotion. Think you missed the chance... I bought 4 dining chairs for half their usual price. Pehaps u can wait till GSS to buy? I'm sure they have more promos then.

    I got mine at furniture mall. Think they have a few other designs. See my t-blog for more details.

    you mean the bravia x-series? i've been looking around and i think it's good and looks nice (many colors and the acrylic piece looks great), but a bit ex. i missed out on the discount in courts when they offrered it at abt 2k, to the first 4 orders.

    Later, they had another offer, abt 2.3k (made in japan) after trade in of any tv(>29"). however, the made in m'sia was not on discount. went on to dig further, and someone said that the japan made one is faulty. so i decided not to buy.

    the different sony series are taking turns to have offers. i think right now is the D series, previously x and s series. so do keep a lookout. personally, an S series is sufficient for me

    i don't think it's a bit ex.. it's like the MOST expensive for 40-42 inch tv right now in market expect maybe LOEWE...

    X series currently is still made in Japan right? W is made in malaysia.

    Hi all,

    Yesterday I was looking for the Hitachi RZ450AM refrigerator but when I called Hong Liang, they said that the capacity of the fridge is much smaller than the NEA ratings and commented that the NEA ratings are not accurate.

    When I went to another neighbourhood store near Hong Liang, the shop owner told me that it is only 2 ticks but I was pretty sure it was 3 ticks on the NEA database.

    In the end, he recommended me the Sharp D42N.

    So wish to ask if it is really possible for the NEA values to be so inaccurate? or am I just conned by the sales people? :(

    Also is the Sharp D42N good? It seems lacking in features...

    No la.. NEA rating is accurate. What's advertised it's ur gross capacity.. meaning every single little plastics, metal whatever inside ur fridge. NEA is ur NETT capacity...

    NEA gave this fridge 3 stars.. i highly recommend this fridge. It's one of the better ones.
