Some Questions On My Impending Renovation

Hope anybody can help me with these doubts.

1) Any particular brands of "Black Galaxy" granite i should choose for my kitchen? Any differences or all the same?

2) How do i tell if the laminated floor is varnished recently? I am planning to get HDB to re-varnish again, as i have just collected the keys. However, i understand from the HDB officer that prior to balloting, they have already varnish once.

3) Any particular window grills recommended? I understand some are plastic, some are aluminium. What price range should i be paying?

4) Where can i get Blum? I am hoping to buy them, and pass to my ID, as their capentry for the kitchen cabinet is of a different brand. Is it the one at Upper Bukit Timah, Kiang Sing Hong Hardware?

5) Which shops sells the nicest ceiling fans??
