What Kind Of Style Should I Go For My Bedroom?

I am trying to re-style my room but i am trying to minimise major work done.

I have two tone walls-Purple on two pieces of wall and violet on two pieces of wall. And my furniture at present are mostly dark wood.

Can anyone please advice me what kind of style should i go with for my room?

Should i repaint my room to suit my furniture?

hmmm.. purple and dark wood.. sounds very comfy.. well, do you have pics of your furniture? it will be easier for everyone else to help you with the decor..

Effect One:

Repaint your walls to something light and airy (eg. cream, but not white). Hang pictures that are somewhat sketchy in style (May I recommend prints by George Barbier, who's works are like this) in white frames. If you want to have a mirror, use one with either a classical style frame or one like this. Have a spray of flowers in the bathroom in either a glass or white ceramic vase (May I suggest peonies or orchids - this one looks best in a pot). Lastly, use warm white lights, or if you can, mix warm white with daylight white lights. That way, the room isn't harshly white, neither is it too yellow. Also have elegant bedside lamps, those that are slender and delicate in design.

Effect Two:

Everything in Effect one, except paint the walls to a deep eggplant. This room would feel a lot more intimate than the first.

you can try to have a lighter color in your wall so that your eyes wont be

irritated. you bedroom must provide a comfort and not discomfort.
