Queries On Lighting Points

Hi all,

Need some advise on the following:

1)Say when there is an existing lighting point, the electrician taps that point to make it a total of 4 points, do they charge this as 3 or 4 additional lighting points?

2) For looping of T5 cove lights, lets say I need 3 T5 tubes to make up the cove light, how would they charge? Do they charge it as 1 lighting point and 3 installation of T5 light with looping?

Sorry for sounding so noob hee, just wanted to know what is the standard practice in the industry.

1) should be consider as 1 lighting point + 3x looping point

2) cove light not too sure, but should be 1 lighting point + 2x looping point (in your case)

it seems like that was how my electrician quoted

1) supply/install 3 looping points

Remove 1 existing light fitting

Supply/install 4 new light fittings

2) 1 lighting point and 2 looping points

Supply/install 3 new light fittings
