Is This Common? My Living Room Setting The Tiles On The Floor

just wondering will workers spread the tiles out in this manner then start to fix them on the floor?

Is this method correct?

by the way is this a week work ? cause this is the only progress i see after a week

Is this considered Dry lay? I did that too.

This is useful if you want to see the effect of the laying of the tiles, e.g. if you have a rectangular tiles.

But yours is square tiles, so not sure why they need to lay the tiles.

This is Dry laying to check on the orientation of the tiles. From the pic, I see that there are some form of grains on your tiles, thus dry-laying would help the tilers as well as yourself to see and decide on the orientaion of the grain flow before the actual laying of tiles. Regards :yamseng:
