Laguna88- Total Transformation By U-Home

Dear Friends,

Our new home was officially handed over to us recently and we have engaged U-Home to do up our ID.

I will like to share our humble experience here while we go through the transformation of our new home.

First, A snapshot of current place without ID. Area Size 1334 sqft

Living Area

Due to Fengshui, We are relocating the main door while leaving the gate in original position.

The whole house will be hacked except the marble flooring in Living area & Dinning Area.

Our ID- Pen Teoh from U-Home is the architect of this new home of ours. So far, he has been accommodating and helpful.

Will keep this thread updated once renovation work starts on 21st Jan 2013.

Estimated Duration of this whole project is around 2 months as we have to shift in by 24 April 2013.

Dinning Area

Kitchen

The kitchen was renovated by previous owner 2 years ago but we didn't like it.

The flooring was overlayed and the colour is too dark. We intend to transform it into something more

modern and white in design.

Master Room

The toilet was renovated 2 years ago by previous owner but my wife didn't like the design.

We also don't need the bathtub and intend to remove it for more showering area.

Just Met Our ID yesterday for the 3D Drawings.

We were very pleased with the design layouts and hope that the turnout will be as great as the 3D drawings..

We have in total received more than 10 3D drawings and were pleased that U-Home was generous with the 3D Drawings that they are able to give us.

I do understand that some ID firms charge $3k-$5k just for the 3D Designs.

The hacking will start on 21st Feb and we are now looking forward to the new transformation of our new home..

By the way just curious ur house is a EM? Cos I saw ur floor plan indicated 2nd & 3rd floor.

As we have to redo the whole place, have to burn a hole in our pocket this time..

This is not a EM. The floor plan is same for 2nd and 3rd floor unit, That's all.

It's a single unit at Laguna 88.

The whole house is almost finished.

Will post pictures soon once it's washed up next week.

How is the workmanship from U-home ?

Generally, I will think they are good. Minor defects here and there cannot be avoided but our ID- Pen Teoh rectified them once we pointed out to him. Overall we are happy with the outcome so far.

Luckily, our ID quite on the ball with our house and is very responsive even on weekend.

Finally manage to shift in and settle down. Very happy with my new home. Thanks to our ID Pen Teoh. You can reach him at 81681210 if you need a creative and helpful ID. I will personally endorse a ID if he is professional, accommodating, helpful and creative. Pen is one of those whom I will endorse.
