Met up with the designer of closetrobe last Thursday.. original meetup time was 6pm, but he called n said will be late n be at my home at 9pm.. turned up at 10pm instead...

Anyway... Luckily my mood was good and was not pissed off.. so he went in to take measurement, and discussed with him on what me and my wife want... he came out the design and we finalized with him.. total cost is $2220 for 6.5ft wardrobe.. which include $180 for dismantling my old cabinet...

The worker will come and dismantle my old wardrobe this wed on 23 Jul... then wardrobe installation will be on 28 Jul... will let u guys know the workmanship next wk.

Interestingly, in most of my meetings with them, they were late. It was also difficult to get in touch with the relevant people. Phone calls and smses went unanswered.

Made an already difficult situation even worse.

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Same here, it's been a month since the site visit. Perhaps shouldn't have asked closetrobe on ID proposal - No confirm quotations, unacceptably slow responses and simply no work done yet. It's wearing my patience thin.

Anyone in the same situation ?

Went to the Home Interior Design fair @ Singapore Expo yesterday.

The main intention was to scout for ID quotation but ended up paying deposit to ClosetDesign for my walk-in wardrobe(wiw). Can't wait to hack my master bedroom wall once I get my keys next mth...hehehe

Expo promotional price by Closet Design ==> 5ft 1400 w/ sliding doors (so called anti jump); drawers (slow motion) ; every extra 1ft=200

Details on my purchase :-

10ft walk-in wardrobe (5ft each side)

4 drawers (soft close)

open concept (top-hung - no track, sliding doors at the entrance of wiw)

sliding doors ==> wooden frame w/ frosted glass

built-in dressing table in wiw

approx clothes hanging length of 8-10ft (top+bottom) ==> boh pien, requirement from wife

Total damage = 2400

I truly like the quality of wood ClosetDesign is using :-

==> higher grade/quality than normal solid ply + laminate

==> normal Solid ply comes in 2 different qualities multiplexed/condensed vs hollow (middle kosong)

IMHO, quite professional lah...fingers crossed...only paid deposit, yet to see the finished product. :))

If you need the contact person, PM me.

did you go to their show room?? how long have u been waiting? i have been waiting for 6 days.

They came to my house to install the internal parts. I thought the material from Closetrobe was 'solid wood' but ended up when the internal storage arrived my house are all made of chipboards like those at IKEA store.
