ya apparently so cause my permit to just install a gate at my recess area is rejected by HDB. Need to build a 1 hr fire rated wall and a 1/2 hr fire rated door at the recess area. cannot just install a gate anymore if your unit is near or next to the stairs. anyone has done this already and roughly how much would it cost ?

If it's really a reservoir then it might be good, might even bring the prices up in future. Look at the billboard at that area, looks like a cool place with parks and water sports etc. But if it's not, then cham ah.. we also looking at that area so hopefully it's really a reservoir. can't seem to find any info on it anyway..

Hi, maybe a bit off topic here, but does anyone if they're gonna built a newater reservoir at the empty plot of land at tampines ave 9 near to the now building UWCSEA school ? heard from propery agent that that's what is going to be built but dunno how true. if its reservoir maybe still ok, if it's going to be newater treatment plant, then aiyo..sure stink like ****...

ya already made a police report stating that he have no contact with me for the past 2 years but in the event of filing for divorce to the court, how can i prove that he's actually missing from my life for 2 years??

Hi All, In a bit of a predicament here so hoping someone can shed some advice. Me and my husband married about 2+ years ago and we have a kid. Problem is after some argument, he completely disappeared. No calls, visits whatsoever from him for 2 years already. During the argument that time, we brought up the idea of divorce but he refused to. In fact he was violent towards me, hitting me and threatening my family members to get back at them for standing on my side (which family would not?). I desperately want to carry on with my life and want to get a divorce but problem is i'm afraid that he'll come and disturb my family and try and do something funny to my daughter. Now i wanted to apply for a HDB flat but HDB refused me and even after i explain to them my situation, they wanted to see document proofs like police report of missing person etc.. i would have made a police report if i can, i just afraid that something will happen to my kid. Question is, if i made a police report abt a missing person, will the police really go and find him, but i really dont want to see him again yet i want a divorce. Going thru lawyers is another option but can they really help...i'm really lost so any kind souls with such experience can advise, thanks..

Hi, Just a question to check with u all. Can 2 unrelated person buy a private property (eg Condo) ? Meaning i would like to purchase a condo with my girlfriend but we're not planning to get married yet. Any body knows if that's possible. thanks.
