    DSA - thanks for your reply. i used the checklist that you put up in your previous post! i think its from some diva79 or something. i don't know, i didn't do the checks. hubby and dad did them. but my dad is experienced in such things so i guess i trust them. maybe i'll go do another round of check on saturday.

    herbman76 - hello how are you? i'm doing okay. just got keys and checked defects!

    err.. think we're not as pro as Ideasmiths or DSA, my dad and hubby only found one minor defect in the whole house! *worried* is it normal to have only one minor defect?

    Ideasmiths - wah biang your idea cool lah. but neck pain leh after a while. we came up with some L shaped idea also but i still think its weird. why the short wall so short!!! :(

    isc90152 - yup exactly. that is troublesome but can DIY right? to do the wiring over to the long wall. to me, it just looks natural to come into my house and see the sofa on the left (long wall) and tv on the right (short wall) haha :sport-smiley-018:

    .. About this weekend, I estimate Saturaday 10am to 1 pm I will be there to knock on the tiles and doing QC check. Just drop by 220B #05-40 and if the door is open, I'm there. >1pm most likely bring my boy boy out for weekend fun liao...

    guys, on the topic of kitchen ware. How did you guys layout your kitchen? Is it like sink and hob opposite each other?

    i guess most people would do it that way. although its not good for feng shui? :dunno:

    i heard rinnai isn't good!

    u r welcome.. i still thinking of doing it a nt.. seem quite exp.. thinking of import/buy from overseas den DIY or pay 100 plus for labour..

    really? will importing + DIY/pay for labour be cheaper than doing it locally?

    aiyah now like alot of ideas but when i get my keys and talk it out with contractor/ID, got a feeling will trim down alot of things due to cost :(

    219B still not collected yet? Should be soon lah. For 221A, there are still contruction barriers around the block. Think really wait long long. But to think on the bright side, can get more help and learn from the experience of the good pple here :)

    i'm supposed to have collected by now, but we appeal for delay cos haven't ROM yet. so i'll be collecting keys in sept. yah lor, good to get experience from the ppl here who have done their renovation. :sport-smiley-018:

    Hi frederick, we are same block neighbour. Its gonna be a long wait though :) I expect around late august or even september. by that time most pple would haf completed their reno :seeya:

    the application status in my hdbpage has finally changed!

    Your appointment to sign the Agreement for Lease and Take Possession of the new flat is on ...

    its too soon so we're going to defer the appointment.

    I have already collected my keys on the 26th May. Been quite busy with all the reno related stuff. Looking forward to moving in, prolly early August. Hows the ROM planning going? Hope you're doing A-okay.

    oh ya u told me b4 that u collected ur keys alrdy.. i've been going to our block sometimes to have a look at other ppl's reno, made friends with a few neighbours in our block as well..

    hehe maybe i can pop by ur place sometime, if u dun mind :sport-smiley-018: hope all your reno stuff is going on well :P

    ROM planning is still preliminary, still scouting around for venue, JP and all.. preparation is tedious but very exciting! :D

    hello girl! i don't have an appt to collect my keys yet. but hle & ahg are approved, so i need to get the keys before the hle expires in 3mths time, which is sept. if not must apply hle all over again.

    ours is the other way round. everything is happening too fast and we wanted to take the keys later. but now bo bian. :curse:
