planning to go HK for my mini honeymoon after my wedding in nov, is it a good season to go for shopping? or sightseeing? planning to book tics during the coming natas.... any recommendations?

i recommend zuji, as they sometime have special promo for hotels. but the last time i book bangkok centrpoint pet 15, the reservation from zuji is just to secure the room, and you have to make payment at the point of checking in, a point to note...

i am planning to overlay some tiles for my toilet as my wifey wants to have some tiny tiles at the shower area wall as design.and i plan to replace the basin most probably and do up a vanity cabinet under it something like a hotel feel with big basin area. as for wiw, after some thinking we decided not to have it as considering future wise for kids, and also maybe a room for guests or study room. after all it is a good to have only. tv console i would like to have it as lazy to source for one, but for opinion, is a tv console built by ID better to attached to the wall or standalone? and i also decided not to have my tv wall mount as i dun want to have problems next time if i need to change anything for the tv or add other hardware, eg game console. anyone got any ideas where to built a nice show cabinet to show my collection of wines eg vodka,martell? visit so many showflats haven seen one where they got a cabinet for wines collection. i would say reno wise just do it one shot nice nice up to what you want lo, as next time if reno it won be easy as problem with dust,place to stay.....but of coz see how much you willing to pay for loan whether you getting reno loan or not...guess nowadays many young people work for the banks to pay their loans every mth....sigh

hi big orange, i think the schedule for taking keys should be according to when the block is completed rite? regardless whether you are from sers or BE group. those from 220a which is first to complete should be already gotten keys ba? so those unpainted block, i predicted should be july/aug lo after china construction handed to hdb and hdb did a check on the flats. so far i had contact with U home director, he is a friendly guy, willing to explain to you most of the stuffs but yet to be very convinced about the works, and heard some not so good feedback about the company from the forum now...so still pondering. also contact with coos design,so far saw quite positive works from them with reno for flats in sengkang. and also considering ideal home which is recommend by some members here... so these are the 3 ID which i am considering at the moment....

my friend from the sers group getting keys for the block 219c next week, so my guess that those people from sers and balloting group should be getting keys around the same time ba, and my guess is my block 221b should be getting keys july/aug ba...

hahaha,i also din manage to get my perfect unit though my q quite good lah... 40+, but this is the best of my choice that is leftover. my HLE i approved before i got my q number allocated so it is still valid till july. i will put my tv console on the long wall, as i think it is better leh...dun wana have a feature wall...

i think doing ala carte is alright provided you got all the sources for all the things you need or wana do. which i think most dun have or lazy lah.hehe... the living room i think is alright lah for the placement. mine is 97 sq so for mi already big enuff...

hi cacky,i went to 2 show flats and one put the tv on the long wall, i agree that the L shaped sofa will have some jutting out but there is no choice, i still thinking of doing a cozy area near the window so might have the whole sofa out of the wall. another way is to put the tv on the short wall, but not near the windows, is to install feature wall and extend the short wall out which is what one of the unit did, but then you will have an area behind the feature wall, sorta empty, which i dun like. as for the dining table guess the best placement is somewhere infront of the entrance if not just at the right of the entrance? duno that will work or not..... and i guess most will do up windows and grill at the service yard right, i intend to do one which will have a small opening which i can push out so that i can leave it open to let some air circuilate. if you know what i mean one if the unit also have a small little basin at the service yard,i guess just for washing hands purpose after putting in luandry? but that i think can go without as a few steps more you can wash in the kitchen..

hey neighbours, we are from 221b,so please update mi into the list.so i got same block neighbours with sheppy and cohiers, which flrs are you? mine is 8th flr, facing inside, coz we dun wana take outside, due to low rise remaining and the mrt noise. just went to visit again today, and was approached and showed several units by this ID call thiam yew seng decoration contractor, and according to him they did about 70+ units from the area and the workmanship not too bad, you can contact dennis 90507397 and he will show you ard, btw, he is uncle lah..not young chap...hehehe... anyways, heard from him that 219c and 219d and probably 221c will prob get the keys by june the rest will be july/august. no hurry from us as we plan only to start reno works after 09 cny and move in after that cos we have wedding to settle this year nov..dun wana to be stucked by too many things at once.... for the tv console u can either put in at the long wall or the short wall (4rm), according to the ID, i am still thinking though, but design wise, think long wall better, as we plan to get a L shaped sofa too. keep updating this thread.....
