  1. I would really highly recommend Eric of Summit Design. He is reallt top-notch. All these while, I'm busy with lots of works and do not have time to even settle my starhub activation or even go down to my place to take a look at how is my flat doing...Eric is kind enough to help me settle all these things, even helping me to watch over the delivery of the electrical goods and lightings etc. And the amazing thing is he managed to finish everything in less than 2 weeks. Though I'm not doing a lot of renovation, but it's quite substantial:

1 day to finish the balcony and painting

1 day to finish the false ceilings

1 - 2 days to finish the electricals works plus installation of lights

    3 days for carpentry.

Totally no frizz at all...i can say it's really amazing. He even update me through sms after each work is done. It's really totally free from worries. In fact, I would be more worried if it's not for him....

And is it expensive? Definitely not. The price he has given to me is about 30% cheaper than most other IDs. How I know? I have sourced over 20plus ID firms before I found him....and he is one of my best buddies now...really owe lots to him....

Can contact him at 97370616.....and let him know Andy recommended.

I seldom come across such a sincere and hardworking and efficient guy like him.

  2. I do not know if they have any package. Usually, Kenny would come over to look at what we want him to move and give us a quote.

  3. haha, my exp was bad, but not so bad.

as my brother was buying furniture for his hm n required delivery asap, cos moving in, den cannot be move in to empty hm. so before we place deposit, dey say delivery can be made within 2wks. but few days later, dey called n say can only deliver 2mths later -_-"

created some hoo-haa, dey decided to loan us replacement set of items, den when dey deliver my brother's furniture, dey take back their replacement items. so exp wasn't so bad, though not exactly good =)

I must say this is qute ok liao. At least they deliver in the end and also willing to lend replacement sets. I guess most of us are afraid of the goods not being delivered at all. Though it's a pain in the butt, but hiccups in logistics are relatively common, especially with the high rising of rental space and property, these shops usually wld not want to keep thinigs for so long.

Put it this way, if they said they do not have stock, or cannot keep for you in the warehouse, would you buy from them?

Guess we as consumers should be fair to them as well, but of course empty promises or lies are not to condone with.....or when the goods are delivered but in bad conditions or started to fall apart within weeks...how come during our parents time there's no such issues?

  4. Hi all,

Think my dinning table is starting to fall apart, as bits and pcs are coming out from it. Now really having a big headache on how to fix the pcs back. Sianz!!!

Bro, i also got my dining table from them.....isn't there supposed to have warranty on the structure? Though i think most of the time warranty is bull****....but how long have you use the dining table only? Sheesh man......now i'm really beginning to worry.....

Can those who have bought furnitures from them and so far no problem one please say some words? I don't think all their items are worthless....actually most of their items can also be seen in some other shops etc.....unless they can imitate each other until so perfect, I believe all of these are from the same supplier....so how can it be other shops not having problems but this having so much problems? Unles they took the defective goods?

  5. Er... Perhaps it's because human brains are wired for relationships that last around 12-14 months, which is about long enough to produce a progeny/child.

The fact is, we, as a species, is not monoganous like swans. Actually, new findings show that Swans are only socially monogamy, but may have extra mating pairs. And I like to quote: "Only 3 percent of mammalian species are socially monogamous, although up to 15 percent of primate species are socially monogamous."

As for us Humans, acceptance of Monogamy or Polygamy are generally dependent on culture and society. I'm not an expert, but I believe that the wide spread acceptance of Monogamy by current society and law stems from the widespread of Christianity/Catholic teachings and strength of these nations in the past. Asian cultures and civilizations in the pasts generally accepts polygamy, just think: Rich/Royalty Chinese has many wifes/concubines, Indian Kings are renown to have many wives too, Malays were Hindus before the acceptance of Islam, and Islam also supports polygamy of up to 4 wives.

So, getting married to a single partner is a social norm, but when our conscious and socially trained behavior breaks down and our basic instincts took over, and err from socially accepted norm, we have an 'affair'.

However, this does not mean that I or you should condones extramarital relationships just because it's basic instinct (Well, it IS still socially unacceptable), but I just hope that I answered the Why part of the question. Why? It's because we are made that way.

Haha....true.....but in one sentence summarised everything up...."humans are never satisfied"....

  6. Yet again, they fail to deliver to my place for the sofa.....

they called me up n gif the same reason as last Tuesday ......

they push to next monday after 7pm to deliver my sofa....

i tell them if i do not see my sofa, i demand a full refund of my depoist which they agree.....

Next time put your phone to voice recording mode wen they say this.

  7. Have you guys ever heard of the phrase "generally you will end up marrying the one whom you do not love the most"....but of course it does not happen to everyone.

Most important, as my wifey always said as well, the significant half is usally the one who can be your best friend throughout your whole life journey.

I also have females friends who told me they are seeing someone else despite them having bfs whom they so called love a lot....but yet they are seeing someone else who seemed to be able to provide them what their current bfs couldn't....so it boils down to human wants the best of both worlds. But the sad truth is we can't seem to have the best in everything. Even if you used to have a gf or bf who seemed to have everything that you are looking for, it might usually not end up with both of you walking down the rostrum....but yet again, this is generalisation and the same go for guys.

But one thing is always true....you gain some, you will lose some. Sometimes the lost may be so hard to bear.

Men have two brains, and it's dependent on when the blood flows to. I guess most important is do you smile when you see your significant half or do you dread to see them? And also, sometimes sex is not everything....

  8. Got a quotation from them and is the highest I've got so far.... But the IDs there are the young ones and full of ideas...

At the end of the day, it's the dollars and cents that matters..

Tks buddy. So can you recommend any good ID films? Actually i more or less have some designs in mind and probably can approach the contractors...but was thinking sometimes approaching ID got it's beneifts....

I'm thinking of artrend or Intradesign

  9. Seems to have lots of good feedback at Morris at Admiralty....sheesh....should have read more on this forum before commitng...but you know human beings.....sometimes we are a bit impatient....and with so many furniture shops in singapore, it's tough....I think i saw a pic of the dining set at Morris which other places are selling over 1.2K but they are selling only for 899....sheesh...and with almost no hiccups in delivery and service.....double sheesh...

  10. Anyone heard of Queen Amerciana? Think it's a subsidiary of Dunlopoillo if i'm not wrong. After trying out so many brands, I find that this one suits my back and it's really comfortable. Two layers of pocket springs plus a 6-inch foam plus bed frame and some pillows at about 4K...original price at 7k....they have 10-12k type also but too high end liao...

It's so comfy that once you lie on it you will not want to get up.... :sport-smiley-004:

the only headache i have now is they only come in super queen or super king size...any idea where i can get super size bed sheet? If not, then bobian but to use the queen size bedsheet and cover up the lobang liao...

  11. so do anyone here manage to buy furniture from them and able to have the furniture delivery on time?

I think deliver late is better than no delivery at all....so is there anyone who has bought from them and manage to get the right stuff eventually?

But seriously, logistics hiccups can happen in any company unless C & C.
