    Hi to all,

    I am currently in Geneva, Switerland, snowing here and nice cold weather today...too cold for me, hehhee... :)

    Joanna, yes, I have a big living hall and kitchen...all the white white laminates cleaning is killing me! hehehehhe...Loved the flip clock. :)

    Tks to Mickey, Devil, Kopi, Ossify and Angel for all the

    good advise n suggestions to my laminate crack, holes and AC piping..will try when back fm trip.

    SnC just send me my small coffee table, there is a wavy line on the laminate, looks like

    the laminate got stuck in between and becomes wavy design, hahahha...did not ask

    the guys to send me a new one cos it is ok to me la. I tik I have got used to all these

    defects now since hse reno got many retifications...

    Getting ready to go on a long trip plus bad news today, I have to fly direct to HKG for my training, OMG..

    hope I will be back in SIN in time to clean up n tidy new hse and most impt be home for reunion dinner, sigh.. :rolleyes:

    Hmm, I think it is fine. The piping is going around the perimeter of the bathroom. So the end part is a removable pipe rite. :)

    What is ur take, Kopi? I believe it is okie. :)

    Hi Mickey,

    In fact, the whole pc can lift up, for easy washing under the pipe area.

    I asked him how come not mount on the wall tiles, he told me this is better..???...

    SORRY ...not scarring u lah....just my personal experience......

    it will sure pop-up during the next 3~4mths becuz of wood expansion.....not to worry....in fact mine took abt 5mth to stabalized due to the very huge area of my living hall.....

    the problem(disappoitment) i had is the joining-line area easily becomes "bloated" (swell)....due to frequent mopping, water sipping in -between the joining lines.....

    but when you call them to change it....they says it's due to water sippage( not under warranty).....but unless the area is near window.....water might be from the rains.....so i dare dare urge with them lor.....finally they change it....cuz it's life warranty.....

    my advise is......dun give-up talking to these supreme guys......ermmm...who is your salesman ah ?

    I shld have got Paquet flooring in the first place, sigh....

    Infact my laminate got a small hole due to drill bits by worker (dun koe which careless one), and now the silicon crack line outside MBR toilet, and just find a small scratch off piece (I tik is done by me).

    Salesman name hummm... is it ok to reveal here?...start with K.

    hey cat...

    your laminates from supreme? u got AC5 type? who's the salesman?.

    ....my previous EM uses supreme too....but I personally think it's not so good leh....even with AC5 type, water easily sips into the joining line........ then becomes "pregnant"....pls take care hor.....

    My MBR toilet, outside my frosted glass door...between my bathrm tiles and Supreme skirting, the silicon already like bursted! Now, got crack line....called Supreme and they will come and fill up with more silicon. I guess they will only come after CNY cos I am going away on a long trip this fri:

    yes yes angel hold a class, i dun mind if you hold the class in my kitchen and mess it up (provided that my house is ready) :D

    Hahah! That will be like in March leh~ But we can go c c ur lovely house, esp ur lovely glass stairs lar. :P

    but you must teach my wife how to bake leh else my oven will be a white elephant again :(

    The air con guy probably lazy and want to save on piping cost. Hee.

    The Air con guy came, with some piping and glue... he did not place the glue can under the newspaper and

    in the end, my MBR toilet tiles all got glue stains patches all over the tiles :angry::angry:

    Luckily, I manage to scrub it off!

    I have no idea how much it cost cos I told ID I want the sauce pull out thingy and they are

    included in my carpentry price.

    The water feature, SA told me not much cleaning needed... But have to fill up top up water cos it will becomes lesser and lesser water. So far, I have top up once every week.

    I bot it fm Beijing last yr, find it very 'chin-na'. Prefer if more modern looking but no choice cos the water flow n depth matches what Feng shui master advised.

    Wow, the got the washer at a gd price, I bot it at $899 and also I added extended warrenty fm HN. But I dun like using the dryer, takes a long time.

    Yes, the tap and basin same, clear glass type.

    Hummmm...which 2 stainless steel pull tray are u refering?

    I love the long display unit in your living room.....super nice. And love your kitchen flooring, with the light reflection it looks cool and unique!!! So did your mom change her mind aft seeing the overall effect in the kitchen?

    Dun worry, other defect stuffs will solve it eventually.

    I oso recommend Persil for front load washer, have been using it for the past 9yrs in my old hse till my washer brokedown (due to overload...hahahahahaha) and oso use it for my current one. There are 2 types, powder and liquid. I choose liquid so even spill out will be still easy to clean up.

    Tks, tks, now my mum now feel the kitchen floor looks ok, heheheh. Infact, at nite when I 'on' T5 lights, below the kitchen cabinets, can see alot of dried glue stains!!! sigh...cos this type of tiles cannot acid wash, it was not able to remove just by simple cleaning.

    I have discovered more defects, but I know ID will not remove and change for me but just ask workers to retify. Some, I did my own and some I decided to live with it..cos I really dun wan any workers to come and dirty my clean clean hse anymore.

    I am going to move in slowly...each day pack abit and bring some stuff fm my mum's hse to my new hse.

    Infact for the last 1 wk, I have been staying at new hse, just have simple clothes like shorts and T-shirts and my toiletries.

    Hehhehe...first nite not used to it and find difficult to sleep...now ok...but still miss my bedrm in mum's hse, hehheeh :P

    I guess it may takes a long time for me to fully moved to my new hse, cos I have too many stuff to sort out fm mum's place to decide what to bring over to new hse.

    I shld try the Persil liquid detergent next time, I also find powder very messy, tks for the recommendation. :)

    i bought fab.. cuz is like a familiar brand.

    also low sud de.. but i duno good not. to me can wash is good. ahaha

    mebe nxt time i try top.

    I saw Fab also but bot Top cos the packaging is smaller, hehehhe... :)

    I would recommend persil as this is the widely recommended brand for front load WM been using it for the past 5 years :D

    Ok, I will try Persil next time when my Top is finished. Like Ling, it is my first time using Front load washing machine. :)

    Wah cat, ur place is nicely done up! :D Haha, I saw ur umb cupboard liao. Hee, guess u gota buy shorter umbs from now on le. :P

    I love ur kitchen, esp the large pantry that u've got. Faster start using pattisier and ur oven! :D

    Yar lor, the umbrella cabinet really small can cannot hang adult umbrella, told my mum can hang kids umbrella only :(

    I tik when I am done with my moving in, I will start to bake, if not forget what I learn in the recent baking class liao, hehehe :)

    hey.. we got the same wm! but mine came with a big crack. :( (can see the pic in my tblog)

    ask u ar.. wad washin powder u use? iknow low sud kind but which brand is good?

    I saw the crack on top of yr washer, really big crack....

    I bot the washer/ dryer fm Harvey Norman, the dryer no good to use, super long to dry in the machine

    and also super crumply...

    Now I always use the 30 mins speedy washing.

    The delivery guy did remind me must use low sud washing powder. He told me Persil or etc.

    I bot the brand called TOP, purple packaging fm NTUC. It is super low suds.

    So far I am satisfied with the washing powder. :)

    your storage cabinet is really nice. not many 3roomers can have it in their living room.

    Yes, it was a big living rm n kitchen for my 3rm flat. Kopi came my place and told me his kitchen smaller than mine.

    I told ID to get for me and install... I guess it was included in the door price, or he forgot to charge me, hehhehe :D
