    not sure if you can paint over putty. you can try spray paint. go to homefix, tell them you have hole in your cupboard's internal laminate and have putty inside which you want to make white, ask them for any suggestions.

    my guess is they'll recommend the white acrylic spray. but they sell the nippon one at $5.5. you can buy nippon one outside at $4.5, nobrand at $3.

    Actually, I have alot of those drill screw holes (which join the cabinets together). The carpenter guy use those small white stickers to cover. Ossify, is this the only solution?

    all these r common, Cat. overall outlook is very good....but when u really hv the time to check through...hahahahaa.....ur head will get bigger n bigger....all the things u mentioned....i hv 90% match with urs....esp the kitchen cabinets inner....the board got those drill holes...hubby was soo angry....he confront ID asking is it carpenter using those faulty board (meaning they actually make mistake on the board n re-use for other customer).... :angry: but no choice...all cabinet up so only solution is to patch the holes with patty lol....haiz~~~

    my mbr WC...the water balancing not right....water after refilled keep overflow......another headache....ID oso arranging plumber to come down to check....hope everything will end soon....for U n for Me!!!

    Tks so much, yr words really make me feel better... ID assistant told me my hse consider retifications not much compare to others... I guess I shldnt be so 'meow' aka 'cat', hehehhe...

    2moro tiler coming to see my chip tiles, painter coming to touch up (not much cos I also dun know where to start also),

    carpenter have alot to cover (hope he will not be in a hurry to rush to elsewhere, I will just tell him if can patch do la, cannot then np la)

    plumber came today and told me the MBR toilet handspray is leaking, so to have the outlet flow turn off n only turn on when need to use. Will do that la, cos I also tik I can live with that.

    Hope our reno headache will be all cleared soon, :P

    Oh dear wah the sellers really too much, do you have their new address ? if yes, everytime you encounter a debt collector from any organisations, you just reply them with the owner new address lah. That way they can nvr run away from the debts they owned :P

    Yes i got the lightings yesterday, everything seems to be correct but not sure if there's any faulty lights as it was not installed yet :)

    Also may i know what time is more convenient for me to drop by your place ? Wouldnt want to disturb your beauty sleep leh Wahahahaha :P

    I saw the seller today n I told him I will tell the loansharks their new address if they come again. The stupid seller still feel that it is only right they have moved out and leave the **** to me. I ask if he owed Starhub $, he say he do not know. My new neighbour aunty told me they ever play majong till they fight. N this is the 2nd time they have moved hse cos of loansharks...last time they stay at the same blk but diff unit!

    So far my lights bulbs fm Lightings.com all ok, I have 18 PLC, 2 halogen, 4 tubes of T5, 2 toilet lights...I hope yrs will be ok, if not so troublesome to go all the way to change.

    Anytime after 12pm, u can come ok? Let me know again :D

    wow, $370(even more x than my ceiling fan liao, haiz) still quite x leh, think most of it came from the installation fee. Was wondering if its hard to install and could the ID have done it instead.

    Actually when I ask my ID, he told me he will get for me, and it is tied to the toilet lights so both will be switched on at the same time.

    I guess u can buy outside (if cheaper) and get yr electrician to quote to install for u.

    3/4 of my furnitures will be in my Sunday...

    Left small coffee table (arrive end Jan), small dining table and 2 chairs (arrive Apr)... tot of getting a small side table for living hall, will look ard.

    Thur gonna do my fengshui move in procedure...

    But I will not move in till April/ May cos I have too many things at mum's house and I am gonna

    take my own sweet time to clean, pack and bring to new hse n unpack n arrange...

    My mum tiks my new hse too small for all of my stuff!!! I really need to toss out alot of stuff at mum's hse.

    I will try to take updated pics of my hse with furnitures on Sunday and post here, hehhehe... :P

    Ah Long story...still there... corridor red and green marks cannot be remove, so ugly in front of my gate, so many patches...sigh :(

    I hope the MIA seller's son (the one that borrow $ fm Ah Long) will not use his old IC address to borrow more debt.

    I will stick the police report note permantly outside my gate.

    Yesterday when I rush down to Starhub cos I need to get the digital boxes for Panasonic pple to installed for me with my TV...guess wat... Starhub told me this address got outstanding bad debts not cleared so cannot have new account! I cant stand this seller whole family, I tik they owe the whole world $ :bangwall:

    Anyway, Starhub SA told me if I can email him my HDB letter with date stated that I am the new owner, they will activate for me...So like a mad woman, I rush home to email them the letter.

    looks like your renovation work is coming to an end soon and guess must be really excited about moving in......

    Like to check with the kdk fan u installed in your toilet, what is the damage(include installation)?

    Our oven is in a tall kitchen unit, next to the larder. We have two large drawers beneath the hob.

    Is the hob's cable touching the top of the oven? Is there anything the electrician or carpenter can do to keep the cable clear of the heat from the oven?

    I found more defects today,

    - more drill bits holes on my common toilet tile- gonna cement fill hole

    - drill holes big chip on my MBR toilet wall- gonna cement fill hole

    - 2 Homo tiles in living rm- cement fill hole cos ID say if retile colour different.

    - feature wall in living hall got small dent- gonna patch up n colour

    - Supreme laminate got drill bits hole- nothing can be done, sigh....

    - inside capentry quite many got small drill bits- gonna patch up n colour

    - MBR WC keeps leaking- plumber will be coming

    - painting not really gd- gonna touch up

    - kitchen glass door got streaks- glass door pple coming

    - sink shelf cannot fit cos block by granite top- ID will take time find longer screw

    - Euip hooks cannot fit cos blockage on glass splashback- ID gonna take time to tik of solution

    - Oven when hot, is in contact with hob cables- have not told ID yet

    I hope that is all... sigh... I very tired liao...clean n mop and still find hse dusty...

    dun 烦 lah....overall still looks :good: yaaa....ur mum hv the point....soo when ur guest @ ur hse, they wun do the opp way n ur nice nice door will be in good shape....just imagine....ur kitchen look soo chio....u wan ur common toilet got with a bi-fold door....??? ehhhh....dun match lah....soo the glass door still the best match....everything come with a 代价....hv to maintain...like my bi-fold door...oso collecting dust leh...hv to clean n wipe often....n oso cannot use too much force to slide the door...otherwise it will out of track....soo...everything got pro n cons...just do the one u like it...u will get used to it when u start staying in....no worries!!!!

    what u say also make points... when I told ID I regret install frosted glass doors for both toilet cos of the Push door only thingy, he was like, then what door u wan, cos it will be same also. hahhaha :D

    The kitchen glass door I like but got a streak line so the glass pple coming on Fri to access and see can remove the streak or change new glass door.

    i suggest u get ur ID to install a stopper so when ppl push it will not knock onto ur rainshower.

    tat wat happen to my frosted glass door in my toilet, when i push, it will hit the toilet bowl..... :(

    Nice reno. Er.. don't need those cute signs. You just need to get your ID to install the glass door 'stopper' for both of your doors. The stopper can be installed either at top or side. For both of our glass door, we got them to install the stopper at the top. :D

    My common toilet has already installed a stopper cos ID noticed abt the knocking on the storage heater tank.

    But the MBR toilet, he didnt realised it knocked on the rainshower. So I told him and he told me it will take some time

    to get the stopper and will fix for me.

    hi cat..u really cat lei...just because of the operation manual u ask them to remove the fridge ah?!

    hahaha....i was thinking how many of us read the manual.

    If i encounter this i surely accept as it is de.

    I see no reason u really in need of the operation manual ,unless u think they delivered you the 2nd hand or Display fridge?

    I dun tik I will order fm Everjoint again... the fridge they send, the outer box of fridge is like used and folded kind, and when they took the fridge out already so many fingerprints, I suspend like return goods kind. And the fridge outer stickers are not there. Anyway I am glad they took it back.

    After that I called Goh Ah Bee and their price same as Everjoint (It was $30 more few days ago). So I told them got manual then I take ok? They assured me sure go manual. The so friendly smiley uncle send me the fridge today, in a brand new box, stickers intact outside the fridge. N uncle even explained to me the usage of fridge like salesman, hehehhehe :P

    Hi Devil (can I call u that? heheheh),

    tks tks, carpentry look nice outside, must agree ID good with his design... He too popular liao as he have too many projects on hand so he do not really check on his worker works... now I have to lived with these 'damages' cos cannot retile or repair liao.

    overall exterior look good but interior... hummmm.... I give 80% cos got dent, holes, scratch, and now can only patch up...

    I got too many carpentry till when I was cleaning up, I also cannot recall which location they must patch up...small ones I just ignore la...carpentry guy very helpful and I like his service. Msia guy.

    It's good that you have time. After the hectic period we went through in trying to get the touch-up done, clean, pack, clean, move, unpack etc, I'd recommend to anyone... if you have time, take your time. It's very tiring to do everything back-to-back.

    wow, u and wify must be really tired doing it back to back... these few days just cleaning the hse after hand over, I still find so dusty and so many things to do at new hse, the cleaning is the scariest part plus checking on the details for rectification.

    sorry, I blur blur liao, yes we have the same Brandt hob, hehehhe...

    My hob is directly above my oven and I found the oven top very hot when I On the oven but my hob cable is above the hot oven top... I worry the cable n wires will melt or affected... Is yours the same?

    My ID helped me to get it and I just saw my bill yesterday, it was $370. It was hooked together with my toilet light.

    So both will be On at the same time with 1 common switch.

    Congrates on your completion of ur reno....!!! all soo swee swee done....luv ur kitchen very much....esp ur ladder unit :dribble: ....wish i could hv one but my kitchen too tiny :( ....hving the glass door to match with ur kitchen...overall ur kitchen look very chio leh... :good::good::good: taste!!!

    tks, but I regret 1 mistake in my reno journey, the frosted glass doors in both my toilets... my toilets are small...

    MBR toilet glass door can only Pull Out cos if Push in will knock onto my rainshower.

    Common toilet glass door can only Pull Out cos if Push in will knock onto storage heater.

    My mum very funni, ask me to go and get those 'Pull only' signs and hang on my toilet doors so visitors will know.

    N both glass doors were so dirty when handed over to me, I have to 'polish' and clean a few times.

    I was a bit upset some 'damage' which cannot be sloved... sigh...some parts of my complete reno I have to lived with it.

    Was tired today after running up and down to get my starhub digital boxes then went Balestier twice to get a new toilet light.

    Rush back to catch hold of the busy electrician.

    I really wanted to mention the Outstanding service I have encountered this reno journey is Ah Wong fm Lightings.com.sg

    AAA for his good service not just once but twice, kudos to him and I highly recommended him, he makes my reno pleasant. :):):)

    My electrician also surprise with his service.

    So nice of u to be so concerning, heeheh...actually I am only gonna move in fully by April, so at moment will just

    take it like chalet.

    I am 'kinda' free these few days cos boss not flying so I take the chance to have my cleaning done

    so furnitures and electricals can come in tue, wed, thur....in fact, my bed frame came, simmons mattress

    came also...and all my Tangs shoppings, plants, standing fan, soundbar, Tv all delivered today :P

    Desmond also came and install my digital lock on last sat liao, heheheh....

    But electrician forgot to hook up my Bosch induction hob so he is coming tomoro.

    Tiler have to come also cos got a big chip on my MBR toilet wall cos plumber install accessorie wrongly and now got a

    big ugly part of tile missing there.

    The toilet light in MBR toilet keeps fading away, may have to go and change the whole light, sigh.... that means electricain have to unscrew the light and I have to go Lightings.com to ask if can change whole light.

    My fridge came today fm Everjoint and no manual, I called and they told me to get fm agent myself!

    I told him then u take the fridge back! N they really took the fridge back...the boss attitude sucks but

    the delivery Indian man very pro, so careful when bring into my kitchen, feel sorry he have to pack it back into the box and bring back to shop.

    Other than this, the other one worth watching, which won Best Drama 2009, Best Actor (黎耀祥) & Best Actress (邓萃雯), was 巾帼枭雄 - 清朝 era...

    For me personally, most of TVB production I would like to watch, other than their 诙谐搞笑剧, don't find it that "entertaining", haha...

    Just my 2 cents worth of comments. :)

    Me me me, also like to watch TVB serials.... used to buy those 'copy' ones then always 1 disc kanna spoil and

    so fed up! hehhehe....

    Hi to all out there,

    My HO was finally done today...super tired....

    cos I was sick since last fri and today lost my voice!

    Cleaner came and do final cleaning on sat (but still dirty).

    So I spent the whole day on Sunday and Monday cleaning the whole hse!

    I nearly die... now left windows and frames.

    Painting was not very well done overall...

    ID was so fast to do HO and collect last payment today...he came at 4.30pm and left after 1 hr!

    Don't need to bring down the whole light. But easier to clean if u remove the light bulb first. Light bulb easy to remove. I tried liao. The standard way to remove light bulb. I tell u heavy becos it is not easy for the electrician to install the light. Really hard-earned money for them to install that light for us. My installation for light is $11. Somemore shared by 2 ppl. Only $5.50 pp.

    wow, tks for telling me.

    I didnt know so heavy... cos I receive the lights when they deliver and didnt realise that it is heavy. I was not there when the electrician installed them.

    Mine got 2 somemore. :unsure:

    I thought of the exact issue when I bought the same light. Hmm, I think just have to clean more liao. Btw, Cat, that light is very heavy. Be more careful during the cleaning process.

    I ask u, if I clean, no need to bring the whole light down rite?

    I will just use a ladder, climb up and clean...will screw out the bulb...do u know is the bulb easy to screw out?

    I got 2 of that lights to clean, sigh... :(
