  1. To be honest, it really depends on what you want to do, and how honest the ID and contractor you met are. Of course, you have to do your own research, gather numerous quotes and compare them.
  2. I'm currently talking to a contractor. First impression is good. If things work out, I will drop you a private message.
  3. Nod. Thanks for your advice. So I noticed the price difference between ID and contractor is quite wide. Amazing.
  4. So, I have a public post, and a private message, both from different users, but both recommending me the same person. The public post does not even have a number to begin with. Thanks for Andrew's recommendation (whoever he is), but I'm afraid I might have to look for someone else instead.
  5. Any idea what's the price range for pd doors? It looks a lot better than bi-fold doors.
  6. Likewise, if you have a recommendation, I appreciate a referrer. Kindly pm me. Thanks!
  7. Hi, I bought a resale flat in the north-east area. The house is in a good condition. I don't intend to do much except to fix up the lower half of the kitchen cabinet, changing of the toilet doors, painting of the entire house (5-room), and changing of the lights. Should I engage an ID or a contractor? Any recommendations for a contractor? I seen many threads about IDs, but how about contractor? I don't intend to do any significant design. Probably going to use just one colour for the entire house. Any recommendation for the toilet doors? Which is the trend or the more popular type of doors? pb/bi-fold/frosted glass doors? How about the house colour? I like to make the room bright, so i like pale and smoothing colours. Thanks! pb2
