  1. As a contractor myself, kitchen cabinet at $95 per feet run is reasonable price.
  2. Wow, there are many carpenter here !
  3. I am curious are you engaging the ID or contractor for service? If you are engaging ID why don't go to ID and ask the ID to settle with contractor about the rework??
  4. Interesting fight seem to be. Talk to your contractor and he may be wiling to absorb the rework may be...although it will cause say $200 to him.
  5. As a contractor myself, $1500 for 5 room is not expensive although you may able be able to bargain and hunt a more hungry contractor which may quote $1300. But of course it is always what the home owner want to trade-off for that $200 difference. for example contractor A charge $1500 contractor B charge $1300 in term of tangible value seem contractor B is better. However come make decision, I would believe those intangible value such as dealing and total experience, quality and after sales service do count too. I would say contractor B is cheaper if A & B has same intangible value. This is just my two cents worth.
  6. hello all, when i look at title of this post i thought it going to be some home owner provide some experience and advice to others. When i look at it, oh, it is just a 'more' honest renovation industry business runner self post to increase publicity. Well that is no wrong with that, it is just like me who post to increase the publicity at least better than those 'contract/designer' act as owner to post here. Pseudo in the sense he is designer at least he self claimed. While i am real contractor who only focus on works not the design. in fact, Pseudo can be my customer too.
