  1. hi some ovens are using 13w and some are using 15w like the brandt, diedetrich and the gaggenau models all are using 15. initially i wanted to buy brandt but since the flat (just renting) had only 13amp sockets i just bought bosch oven which is running on 13a

    Hi,

thnx 4 the info. i juz bought Brandt built-in oven. me & hubby din take note of these stuff cos its on promo so faster faster reserve & pay 4 it.

  2. when did tt happened?? tot u usually say u king and i maria??? :bleah:

Junxian, my neighbor to be, hehe. yeah! got change in plans le....quite a complete change, though the main tings still there. Entertainment cum gaming room, his gym, my WIW...

    My layout plan (with drawings)

    floorplan-1.jpg

Today, a creative friend of mine gave me a new idea for the glass room.

(1)To create a cozy area in the glass room. It consist of a rattan hang chair, a english tea table, probably a sandbag and alot of cusions. It will my my cozy reading area. Or my chit chat area with my girl friends (guys will probably be gaming with waxus in the entertainment room or working out in the gym with him).

    cozyarea1.jpg

    diningroom.jpg

It be perfect if it has a sky painted wall/ wall paper

My creative friend also gave another brilliant idea..

(2)To put a jacuzi inside the glass room!!!!!It be perfect especialli since the WIW is juz behind the glass room.

    bellavistacorner_1_MD.jpg

its brilliant, but...but..its a glass room!!! But its brilliant,....though i doubt i got the courage to do it....haha

Other thoughts for the glass room is, a dining area,

a bar counter (but we dont drink....can we eat ice cream there? )

    JW-Barcounter.jpg

    or the pool table...

Hmmmmmm..any suggestions??? Which would u choose if u were me?

to create a cozy corner there is a great idea but not feasible. there will be no ventilation inside the room unless u are prepared to install an aircon inside. moreover thk the area there is rather small...

it is more appropriate to locate the dining area there.

  3. Only saw lots of sand every where.

Dad inspected the sand and was satisfied that it wasn't of inferior quality. I was so worried that he would find something wrong with the sand and demand for it to be changed cos if that happened then the reno will be delayed further. :P

Hope tomorrow some tiling will be done. Sigh

wah u dad sand expert ah.. :good: or is an engineer? hee ;)

  4. thanks..i look forward to seeing your new drawings then~ i bought most of my furniture from FC...package price is quite cheap. As for barstool..ya, i really loved this chair..first saw something similar from AIR..but its way too costly...how much did you pay for yours? Is it the same design as mine? I lag mine back all the way from Bangkok while on business trip..hahhaa..only $300+ for 2.

    300+?? tat's cheap! :o

from bangkok...? is it bought from objet too? or other shop?

i bought mine from objet at 50% discount. $390 for 2 after the discount ;)

  5. thks for ur adv, :D

wouldn't want to flood your nice nice concepts with my humble setup .. hehe

    have a look on mine post - #68? http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...16952&st=40

basically, I converted my long seatee in the living room to have dual-purpose - one for seating, 2nd for cabinents. i choose dark brown and off white colors for my Living Room, kitchen is Grey and stainless steel colors.

    :)

  8. hmm... if 90k is only on renovation, then require to work on extra money to buy a good bed, electronic appliances, light fitting, sanitary fittings and furniture. Small stuff like these will bring the class of the unit too plus not to mention during construction of the flat, there might be additional cost coming up on the way.

But if 90K is inclusive of the above which I mentioned then it will be a better deal. :sport-smiley-004:

90k is almost inclusive of everything..if not i will :bangwall: haha

omg 90k!? Its a bomb. Have you try going ard asking for different quotes? Don't just sign up without doing that even if you're super comfy with the ID..

we had 4 quotes. range from 45k to 75k

in the end we signed up with this id, the most ex one.

cos the other 3 proposals are only avg, and 2 of them more like a salesman than a designer

omg 90k!? Its a bomb. Have you try going ard asking for different quotes? Don't just sign up without doing that even if you're super comfy with the ID..

yah want swee so bo pian :good:

Really looking forward to see more 3d pics of your 90k reno.

    will post it soon!

from your kitchen render your counter table seems to be facing the main door? If so, it might be too near and can be awkward.

For 90K can tell us what flooring are you using?

is actually nt too near the entrance. moreover there will be a glass partition erect there. we are using homogenous floor tiles for living and kitchen area, and parquet flooring for bedrooms

SPAM CHOP! congrats on the new place... 90k for reno :bow:

i see a few similar items in the drawings with what we are having at our place... :sport-smiley-004:

    3061968009_78b99c8eae.jpg

the dining chairs... in different color

    and the wall painting..

    3062807788_4389cf2293.jpg

we saw similar ones at XZQT. but we will not be gng for this dining chairs. got better one in mind :good:
