Hi Yang Guo, Thanks so much for yr advice...I didn't know it takes sometime to get quotation from ID , thot like only 1 day . But I was informed by HDB that I only can collect key within 3 mths (and heard most of the cases is after 3 mths ), so guess I still got time? I will change the sink for both toilets after got yr advice (innitially only master toilet to save cost). How abt toilet bowls? Is it needed tobe changed? I'm thinking hard to hide the hanging clothes coz i don't like to hang behind the door. Looks quite messy & can't hang so many too, somemore the clothes can get wrinkle easily. So I'm thinking to have 1 compartment in the built-in wardrobe to hang them. Don't know if it's feasible or not? btw, my flat is at Kallang Heights, 5 rooms, do you think 25k for renovation is enough?

hi all, the question sounds stupid but I'm really lost in the preparation for renovation. 1. We just had our 1st appointment and waiting for our flat's key now. Could you advise when I shld look for ID/Contractor to get their quotation? As we only have floor plan but havent got a chance to go in & take a look (our flat is standard unit) so we may miss out lots of renovation work when giving ID/Contractor our reno requirements Some more, some of them will go to the flat to have good look for quotation too. So shld we go find ID/Contractor ard 1 mth before the key collection day or close to the date? 2. Does the Standard unit has toilet bowls/toilet sink? Also, a small question. How do you hide the hanging clothes (those we already wear but will not wash immediately like jacket/jeans ect..) ? thanks a billion

what happened to you? why cancelled? You try Apr one, i heard resale market won't drop in value.... Today I was very surprised becoz HDB's letter. We have appointment to chose the flat on 23rd Feb!!!! So surprised coz we thought we failed already. Like my previous post, our queue number is 14x out of 64 5-room flat (kallang) & they even say "our queue number is very far behind & likely no appointment at all". It means nearly 100 ppl drop out? heyzz, when dont have appointment then sad, now got already then afraid why so many ppl drop out? They found their flat? Or becoz of recession or something wrong with the area ... Keep praying everything will be smooth....

Oh, then you are invited to select in Jan already, i think with condition that there are still left over flat. Mine is worse, as I said, they just say my queue number is very far behine, no invitation or sending letter to select flat at all . Gook luck to you, Nesh

Oh, really? When I check the result, hdb stated something like "your queue number is very far behind so it's very slim chance to book a flat, blahblah... So I don't know shld carry on hoping or not, sob sob . Is anyone here have the same thing happen to you?

dear all, my 2nd attempts on hdb but seems no future . My queue number for Kallang 5 room (64 total, 40 for Chinese) is 14x. Do you think I still got chance?
