    my chairs from LaCafa FINALLY arrived correctly! Was real pissed off by the ultimate delay and I lambasted at the logistic person as their excuses were recycled umpteen times and that was my last straw.

    Supposed to be delivered BY 7 Aug 09, it only arrived last weekend.

    5 aug:the lady ic from logistics called and requested for a little delay as the shipment just arrived, and has yet to unload. assured me that they are really keeping my delivery a close watch. they proposed delivery to be after national day.

    no sound no picture...

    20 aug: i called back n demanded an answer....the lady promised to callback. end f the day, no one called me.

    21 aug: the guy i first spoke to called and explained they have not unloaded. I lambasted him! I tell him the unloading took from 5 aug till that very day is none of my problem! the delivery was promised on 7 aug, i gave leeway and the good has not arrived, no one bothered to call back and explained and happily let the shipement sits in the container??? !! WTF! I am not gonna care how the d.am.n process works, send my my chairs and thats it! the guy sounded pissed off and said im not understanding tio their situation. Excuse me, am i really that demanding? from may to june to aug is it not patient enough?

    Ok, end of the story is, LA CAFA IS BAD!!!!

    Next, we finally have a clock!!! a clock that hubby likes but it didn't blend in the feel of the whole house. i gave in...oh well, this clock costed us $179, and just to make the man of the house happy!

    Next, i will update the nitty gritty of my reno. it has not really concluded, the loose ends aka the rectifications till now has still not completed. will take some pictures to share soon...

    got a quote today from the guy which F4's contractor recommended... we r still awaiting for another quote.. then hopefully.. we can close the case within this week.. soon.. soon.. our nest will be completed.. ^^.. really can't wait.. :)

    Hubby was telling me he meet poh during one of those days last week and they talked about the roof thingy...hope to see the final completion pics :)

    btw when Jason show you the door and gate catalog hor, did he says which one can choose which one over budget ?

    I would be disappointed if I cant get the one I like due to budget :(

    ur "ID" not pro hor? only look at pics :D

    if the top up not too much, u ask jason if he can throw in? since u major overhaul im sure he can do something for u ;)

    Wah...Minimalist...I think I can't do it.. Minimalist require more planning on design than other. You must be armed with a list of design u wanted to do now. haha

    My house theme is all set by my wife...lols. My job is to say "orh" ..."thank you".. and of course sometimes, I will say..."sure..nice meh, can don't want a not". haha

    Was still waiting to see how good can my contractor patch up the small hole on the door.

    Give me reviews leh so far how is it ?

    Duno how long need change batteries hmmm...

    batteris generally can last a year (20 openings a day)

    so far im very happy with the lock :) it's sleek, eye candy and fits well on my white door :D

    Ya...i saw 2 holes there...they wana install locks for u is it?

    Wah liew....Basically, you are covering a managerial role already. :rolleyes: I hope there are sub-ordinates under you.. If not, is a challenging and tiring job..

    Perhaps, promotion is on the way leh. heehee.

    p.s.: Such roles u are taking become everything is first priority...already cannot prioritises. lols.

    but i like doing all these u see. just that morale low lately. i dare not dream of promotion cos i see some power-hunger people fighting around and my culture here really sux. I just wana get out! haha...

    Aiyo...don't get too stress. You must be either working in advertising or marketing line.... Stress level in these industries are usually unbalance. Hmm..endure 3 more days...weekend is coming. :D Do some family outing. heehee.. I am stress too...over family..

    tell u what! U are so right!!! I am doing marketing and recently changed a role but still doing A & P, PR and stuff lah...now still hv to do crisis management...duh. tiring lah...i hope to take a break for holiday!!!

    I lost track! :D But, I think is last week of Sept I think.

    Don't stress me this way please...I am stressed out due to work! I seem to neglect family as a whole for the past week. This is not good, I need to do some soul searching and manage my stuff better!
